Database performance analysis suggests that indexes could be used to improve performance. LOCAL FIX: PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Poort performance when using a database to store transaction logs. RECOMMENDATION: None Performance issues accessing transaction logs can be observed when these logs are stored in a relational database. Performance can be significantly improved if the tables related to the transaction logs are indexed. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: This APAR Applies indexing to the tables related to transaction logging in a relational database to improve performance. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.11 and 8.5.5.6.
