This can lead to slow downs and delays in job processing. The correct behavior should be asynchronous job dispatch. LOCAL FIX: PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V8.5 Compute Grid batch functionality PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Jobs submitted via the scheduler are incorrectly dispatched in a synchronous fashion. RECOMMENDATION: None Batch jobs submitted via the scheduler should be dispatched in an asynchronous fashion. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The code has been corrected to eliminate the synchronous dispatch and allow jobs to be dispatched asynchronously. .
