Abstract:  Memory leak in GSKit 8.0.50

Description/symptom of problem:  
PI13422 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:                                              
A small memory leak exists in GSKit versions 8.0.50.1 through   
8.0.50.17.                                                      

LOCAL FIX:                                                      
None                                                            

PROBLEM SUMMARY

USERS AFFECTED:
 All IBM HTTP Server V8 users with SSL
enabled and using either GSKit 8.0.50.13
installed for APAR PI05309 or GSKit
8.0.50.17 installed for APAR PI09443.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A GSKit security library problem
could result in slow memory growth.

RECOMMENDATION:
 Apply this fix if using IHS 8.0, 8.5, or
8.5.5 with SSL enabled and using an
affected version of GSKit.

A problem in the GSKit security library could result in slow
memory growth.
z/OS servers are not affected.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:                                             
The GSKit security library was updated to resolve the issue.

- 8.0.0.9                                                       
- 8.5.5.3

  Shutdown IBM HTTP Server before applying the iFixes.
