LOCAL FIX: No PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server using the WebSphere Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Proxy. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Inbound SIP packets that contain invalid routing information are being dropped rather than sprayed to back-end SIP Containers. RECOMMENDATION: None Inbound SIP packets that contain invalid routing information are being dropped rather than sprayed to back-end SIP Containers. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: We updated the code to allow packets with invalid routing information to be sprayed to back-end SIP Containers. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.3.
