Fix (APAR): PH45739 Status: Fix Release: 9.0.5.11 Operating System: AIX,Linux,Windows,z/OS Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: xxxxxx Byte size of APAR: 1683110 Date: 2022-04-19 Abstract: connection issue in profile management tool and migration tool in 9.0.5.11 Description/symptom of problem: PH45739 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: The GUI version of the profile management tool and the migration tool fails to connect with the deployment manager even when all the parameters are correct. There is no helpful message on the screen. The issue happened after upgrading to 9.0.5.11 LOCAL FIX: PROBLEM SUMMARY: USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server who use the GUI of Profile Management tool and the Migration tool PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The profile management tool and the Migration tool fails to connect with the Deployment manager. No error message displayed. RECOMMENDATION: None There was a bug that failed to use the correct SSLSocket information when the tools were used in GUI mode. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The bug has been fixed. The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in 9.0.5.12.
