LOCAL FIX: None PROBLEM SUMMARY: USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server using datasources custom properties. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Datasource custom properties that contain password as part of the name of the property may stop working RECOMMENDATION: None Custom properties that contain password as part of the name may have its value replacd with ***** causing an authentication error with wrong password being used. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The custom properties that contain password as part of the name are obfuscated for trace and ffdc and not for the actual value required for the connection. The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.20 and 9.0.5.8.
