LOCAL FIX: n/a PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application server Network Deployment and WebSphere Extended Deployment version 6.0.2 and above. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ODC Violations cause ODC transactions to be aborted, making Proxy or ODR unable to route requests. RECOMMENDATION: None ODC Violations cause ODC transactions to be aborted causing Proxy or the ODR unable to route requests. In case of interoperability between versions 6.0.2 and 6.1 and Extended deployment versions 6.0.2 and 6.1 this fix handles unknown ODC Nodes and Edges correctly. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: Changes were made to 1. Node creation code 2. Rollback code, which was not able to cleanly rollback the transaction under certain conditions, make the ODCTree go in an inconsistent state. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpacks 6.0.2.21 and 6.1.0.9.
