Startup WLM is automatically started by z/OS® when you IPL your system. You do not have to start it.
Shutdown You cannot shutdown WLM.

How to handle a catastrophic failure of the servants Following a catastrophic failure of the servants, you can use one of the following resume commands, depending on your application environment type:
  • Static application environment:
    v wlm,applenv=applenvname,
    resume
  • Dynamic application environment:
    v wlm,dynappl=applenvname,
    resume,options
