Virtual member manager security

Virtual member manager security is enabled by default, however, WebSphere® Application Server global security must also be enabled.

Because virtual member manager security is enabled by default, WebSphere Application Server global security must also be enabled to ensure that the client can authenticate successfully before using the virtual member manager API. If WebSphere Application Server global security is not enabled, the virtual member manager API generates an access exception for every request.
