You can use the Installation Manager GUI to uninstall any product offering.
About this task
All product offerings can be uninstalled by using the Installation Manager GUI, including
the following offerings:
- All WebSphere® Application Server editions
- Application Client for WebSphere Application Server
- DMZ Secure Proxy Server for WebSphere Application Server
- IBM® HTTP Server
- Web Server Plug-ins
- WebSphere Customization Toolbox

Procedure
- Uninstall the product.
- Stop the product installation that you are uninstalling.
- Start Installation Manager.
- Click Uninstall.
- In the Uninstall Packages window, select the product offering, and then
click Next.
Important: When you uninstall any product offering, you must uninstall all packages
under the same package group that are extensions of the offering. For example, if the product
offering requires IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, both the product and the Java SDK must be
uninstalled.
- Review the summary information.
- Click Uninstall.
- If the uninstallation is successful, the program displays a message that indicates success.
- If the uninstallation is not successful, click View log to troubleshoot
the problem.
- Click Finish.
- Click to close Installation Manager.
- Optional: Uninstall IBM Installation Manager.
Important: Before you can uninstall IBM Installation Manager, you must uninstall
all of the packages that were installed by Installation Manager.
