Before you begin
Remember: The Pluggable Application Client is
available only on Windows systems.
Both Java Platform, Enterprise Edition
(Java EE) application clients
and Thin application clients can access JMS resources provided by
the default messaging provider.
Deprecated feature: The
Pluggable Application Client is deprecated. It is replaced by the
stand-alone thin client, IBM® Thin
Client for EJB.

Procedure
- Install the Pluggable Application Client.
Read Installing and uninstalling the Pluggable Application Client for WebSphere Application Server for more information,
- Set the Java application
pluggable client environment by using the setupClient command.
- Add your specific Java client
application JAR files to the CLASSPATH and start your Java client application from this environment,
after setting the environment variables.
- Run a Java command
to invoke your client application.
