Generate a customized installation package (CIP) as you create
the build definition file by using the IBM Installation Factory. You can then
install the product from the CIP image.
Before you begin
Before you can install a customized installation package (CIP),
you must create a build definition file to specify what options to include
in the CIP.
Read the readme file, which is located in the CD root directory,
and prepare your environment to support an installation. Exit the WebSphere
Application Server Network Deployment directory. Installation errors can occur
if you inadvertently leave a command line or browser instance open in the profile_root/installedApps directory. To install a customized installation package using the
IBM Installation Factory for WebSphere Extended Deployment 6.0.1, you must
first install the IBM Installation Factory for WebSphere Application Server
