If a node is added to the business grid node
group by the Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator work flow, you must perform additional
steps on the newly created server instance.
About this task
Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator can work with the business grid in
semi-automatic mode. After a node is added into the business grid node
group by the Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator workflow, you must perform manual
configuration steps on the newly created application server instance.
Procedure
- Verify that the WC_defaulthost port of the new application
server instance on the new node is in the list of host aliases of the default_host
host of the cell.
- In the administrative console, click Servers > Application
servers >server_name> Ports to find the port that is assigned
to the WC_defaulthost host alias.
- To verify that the port is in the list of host aliases for the default_host host
alias, click Environment > Virtual Hosts >default_host> Host
Aliases. If the port is not listed, add the port to the list
by clicking New.
- Verify that the startup beans service is enabled on the new application
server instance. In the administrative console, click Servers
> Application servers >server_name> Container services > Startup
beans service. Verify that Enable service at server startup is
selected.
- Restart the newly added node.
