Verifying the long-running scheduler installation

This article describes how to verify that the long-running scheduler is installed correctly.

Before you begin

Privileges for the long-running scheduler differ, depending on the various roles. Roles include monitor, operator, configurator, and administrator. If you are a user with either a monitor or an operator role, you can only view thelong-running scheduler information. If you have the role of configurator or administrator, you have all the configuration privileges for the long-running scheduler.

About this task

To verify that the long-running scheduler is installed correctly, verify that one of the application servers in the dynamic cluster you created is started.

In the administrative console, click System administration > Long-running scheduler and click the Runtime tab. Under Status, verify that the status of the LongRunningScheduler application is Started

Other possible states are: You can also verify the cell, node and server names on this tab.
