Getting the long-running scheduler WSDL file

Follow these steps to get the Web Service Description Language (WSDL) file for the long-running scheduler Web services.

Before you begin

Install the long-running scheduler, then perform these steps to obtain a WSDL file that describes the Web service interface to the long-running scheduler.

Privileges for the long-running scheduler differ, depending on the various roles. Roles include monitor, operator, configurator, and administrator. If you are a user with either a monitor or an operator role, you can only view the long-running scheduler information. If you have the role of configurator or administrator, you have all the configuration privileges for the long-running scheduler.

Procedure

  1. In the admin console navigation tree, select Applications > Enterprise Applications.
  2. Click the long-running scheduler application link, that is, LongRunningScheduler.
  3. Click the Publish WSDL files link.
  4. Click the LongRunningScheduler_WSDLFiles.zip link.
  5. Save the file to your local file system

What to do next

Use the long-running scheduler WSDL file to build Web services client programs.
