Deleting an active edition

This topic describes how to delete an active edition without rolling out an edition.

Before you begin

Before you start, you must have an installed, active edition.

To perform this task, you must have a configurator or administrator administrative role.

About this task

Procedure

  1. Click Applications > Edition control center. Select the target application.
  2. Stop the application edition.
  3. Deactivate the active edition. Select the edition and click Deactivate.

Instead of deactivating an active edition, you can replace it with a new edition. Roll out a new edition, which makes the old edition inactive. Use rollout to ensure an interruption-free deactivation of the edition you want to delete.

  4. Click Applications > Enterprise applications. For an enterprise application, select the edition that you want to uninstall, click Uninstall. The servers do not need to be restarted to reflect this change.
  5. Save and synchronize changes.

Results

The edition is removed.
