6.6.42.1.2: Installing and uninstalling J2C adapters on nodes, with the Java administrative console
To install an adapter:
- Locate a J2C adapter instance in the tree view.
- Click the Nodes tabbed page.
- Click the Install New button.
- Configure the new adapter:
- Select a node on which to install the adapter.
- Specify or browse for the classpath directory (see J2C adapter properties).
- Click Install.
- Click Apply on the J2C adapter properties view.
To uninstall an adapter:
- Locate a J2C adapter instance in the tree view.
- Click the Nodes tabbed page.
- Select a adapter from the list of adapters.
- Click Uninstall.
- Click Apply on the J2C adapter properties view.
You can also click a node instance in the tree view to
display a similar configuration dialog, only the Classpath directory field is named
Driver file instead.
