During this task, you will stop a server process based on the current server
configuration's process definition settings.
- Select the Configuration menu listed at the top of the right side of the console.
- Select configuration file of the server that you want to stop.
- In the tree on the left side of the console, click Nodes -> hostname ->
-> Application Servers to display the application servers view.
- Select the application server that you want to stop, to display its properties on the
right side of the console.
- Click the Stop button to stop the server process.
- The command will attempt to stop the server.
If the server is not running, or the administrative application could not establish
communications with the server process, an error message will be displayed at the top of the page.
A warning message will be displayed if you are stopping the same server that is running
the administrative application.
- Click Continue on the confirmation screen to stop the server. You will be
automatically logged out of the administrative application, and will need to
log in again
when the server has started.
