Preparing for an OLT and IBM Distributed Debugger session on AS/400

Object Level Trace (OLT) enables you to monitor the flow of a distributed application, and to seamlessly debug client and server code from a single workstation. A typical OLT session on AS/400 consists of the following steps:

  1. Compiling AS/400 application code for OLT.
  2. Preparing the AS/400 environment for OLT.
  3. Tracing a distributed application.
  4. Setting method breakpoints on the trace.
  5. Running the Debugger with OLT.
