6.6.19.3.4: Retrieving trace strings from the server with the Web console
During this runtime task, you will retrieve the trace string that the running
application server is using right now. This is useful when you are not sure which
trace string is in use, or would like a copy of it in order to modify it and reapply
it.
- Ensure that the application server is running.
- In the tree on the left side of the console, click
Nodes -> hostname -> Application Servers
-> Trace Service. The trace service properties will be displayed
on the right side of the console.
- Click the Retrieve button. The trace specification field will be filled
with the trace string under which the server is operating.
