5.4.2.3: Accessing secured resources from Java clients
A Java client that needs to access a secured resource must know
that resource is secured. This page describes how to provide clients
with the information they need.
- Create a text file. In it, specify the following property-value pairs:
You can use the properties file sas.client.props installed with
WebSphere Application
Server as a model.
- When you start the client, load the properties file you just created. Specify the
properties file on the command line as follows:
-Dcom.ibm.CORBA.ConfigURL= <URL
of properties file>
For example, to load a properties file called my.client.props located in the product
installation directory for a client called MyClient App:
java -Dcom.ibm.CORBA.client.ConfigURL=file://install_root/properties/my.client.props MyClientApp
