Listing applications with the wsadmin tool

You can list installed applications using the wsadmin tool and scripting.

Before you begin

Before starting this task, the wsadmin tool must be running. See the Starting the wsadmin scripting client article for more information.

Procedure

Query the configuration and create a list of installed applications, for example: where:
$ is a Jacl operator for substituting a variable name with its value
AdminApp is an object that supports application object management
list is an AdminApp command
Example output:
DefaultApplication
SampleApp
app1serv2
