Removing users and groups from bus connector roles using the wsadmin tool

To prevent a user or group from connecting to a local bus, use these commands to remove them from the connector role for the appropriate local bus. Removing a user or group from this role prevents them from accessing local destinations, or sending messages to destinations on foreign buses.

The commands described in this topic are all run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client. Each command acts on multiple objects in one operation. The commands are provided to allow you to make the most commonly-required types of update in a consistent manner, where modifying the underlying objects directly would be error-prone.

Commands

Removing a user
To remove a user from a bus connector role, use the following command in wsadmin:
$AdminTask removeUserFromBusConnectorRole {-bus busName -useruserName}
Removing a group
To remove a group from a bus connector role, use the following command in wsadmin:
$AdminTask removeGroupFromBusConnectorRole {-bus busName  -group groupName}
After using these commands, save your changes to the master configuration; for example, by using the following command:
 $AdminConfig save
