Configuring Web services for a service integration bus

Why and when to perform this task

Inbound and outbound services: how a client request is received by an endpoint listener, then passed through an inbound port to an inbound service destination; how an outbound service destination passes a request through an outbound port to an external service.

Through the service integration bus Web services enablement (SIBWS), you can achieve the following goals:

For core administration tasks (for example creating a new inbound or outbound service) you can either use configuration wizards within the administrative console, or you can work with the service integration technologies administrative commands.
