Use this task to create topic space mappings between two service
integration buses.
Why and when to perform this task
To
map a topic space on a local bus to a topic space on a foreign bus, use the administrative console to complete the following steps.
Note that the topic spaces do not need to have the same name.
Steps for this task
- In the navigation pane, click . A list of buses is displayed in the content pane.
- In the content pane, select
the bus for which you want to list the foreign buses.
- In the content pane, under Additional properties, click Foreign
buses. A list of foreign buses is displayed.
- Select the required foreign bus.
- In the content pane, under Additional properties, click Service
integration bus link routing properties. If instead there is a
link titled WebSphere MQ link routing properties, then
the foreign bus represents a WebSphere MQ gateway rather than another service
integration bus.
- In the content pane, under Additional properties, click Topic
space mapping
- In the content pane, under General properties, enter
a description for the mapping in Description and clickApply.
- In the content pane, under Additional properties, click Topic
space map entries
- Click New.
- Specify the mappings as follows:
- Local topic space
- The name of the topic space in the local bus that you want to map to the topic space on the foreign bus.
- Remote Topic space
- The name of the topic space on the foreign bus that you want to map to the topic space on the local bus.
- Click OK.
- Save your changes to the master configuration
The remote topic space is mapped to the local topic space.
