Enabling Web services through service integration technologies

Why and when to perform this task

Through the service integration bus Web services enablement (SIBWS), you can achieve the following goals:
When you configure Web services for the service integration bus, you use the WebSphere Application Server administrative console or the service integration technologies administrative commands to configure the following resources:

When you install WebSphere Application Server , or an upgrade or fix pack, the installation program does not install or upgrade the Web services enablement of the service integration bus. The installation program copies the SIBWS files into directories within your application server directory structure, then you install them into your application server as a separate task as described in SIBWS - completing the installation.
