Removing a member from a bus

Use this task to remove a member from a bus.

Before you begin

Attention: When you remove a member from a bus, all messaging engines on that bus member will also be deleted and their associated messages will be discarded. If you decide to add the same bus member again, first you must manually delete the old data source to ensure that once the new messaging engine is created, it will restart.
