Modifying topic mappings on a publish/subscribe broker profile

This topic describes how to modify topic mappings on a publish/subscribe broker profile, part of a publish/subscribe bridge on a WebSphere MQ link.

Before you begin

Before you start you need to know the bus name, messaging engine name, and the name of the WebSphere MQ link that has the broker profile name which you intend to modify.

Why and when to perform this task

To modify topic mappings use the administrative console to complete the following steps:

Steps for this task

  1. In the navigation pane, click, Service integration > Buses [Content Pane] > bus_name > [Additional Properties] Messaging engines > engine_name > [Additional Properties] WebSphere MQ links > link_name > [Additional Properties] Publish/subscribe broker profiles > [Additional Properties] > profile_name
  2. You can modify the topics mappings. Make modifications as necessary.
  3. Save your changes to the master configuration.
  4. Restart the application server.
Any topic mappings that you have removed are automatically cleaned up by the publish/subscribe bridge when the application server is restarted.
