Use these commands in wsadmin to list the users and
groups currently in a topic role.
Why and when to perform this task
- Listing users
- To list the users in a Sender or Receiver topic role within the specified topic space, use the following
command in wsadmin:
$AdminTask listUsersInTopicRole
{-bus busName
-topicSpace topicSpaceName
-topic topicName
-role roleName}
Note: This command lists the users that are assigned
to a role for this specific topic. It does not list the users that belong
to roles inherited from parent topics. Valid role names are Sender and Receiver.
- Listing groups
- To list the groups in a Sender or Receiver topic role within the specified topic space, use the following
command in wsadmin:
$AdminTask listGroupsInTopicRole
{-bus busName
-topicSpace topicSpaceName
-topic topicName
-role roleName}
Note: This command lists the groups that are assigned
to a role for this specific topic. It does not list the groups that belong
to roles inherited from parent topics. Valid role names are Sender and Receiver.
After using these commands, save your changes to the master
configuration; for example, by using the following command in wsadmin:
$AdminConfig save
