Saving the security domain variables

Before you begin

You must have completed the definition of the security domain variables in the Configure Security Domain task.

Why and when to perform this task

This section tells you how to complete the "Save security domain variables" option that is in the Configure Security Domain task.

Steps for this task

  1. On the main Dialog panel, type the appropriate number in the Option field to select "Save security domain variables".
  2. Press Enter.
    Result: You see the Save security domain variables panel, which looks similar to this:

    Save Security Domain Variables                                                
                                                                                  
      Specify the name of a sequential data set to contain the security domain    
      variables, then press Enter to continue. If the data set does not exist,    
      the Dialog displays the Allocate New Data Set panel, with which you         
      can allocate a data set.                                                    
                                                                                  
     Data set name:                                                               
  3. Follow the options in order and enter information from the Save security domain variables worksheet (be sure to enclose your data set name in single quotes), then press Enter.

Results

You are done when you successfully save the variables.
