Characteristics of interruptible processes
An interruptible process has the following characteristics:
- Runs as several transactions.
- Can consist of services, enterprise beans, Java snippets, event, person,
empty, and process activities.
- Usually started using the initiate method because the output message cannot
be retrieved synchronously.
- Normally long running.
- Is visible during execution because run-time values are stored persistently.
