WebSphere Business Integration Adapters settings
Use this page to specify settings for a WebSphere Business Integration
Adapters resource.
The WebSphere Business Integration Adapters (WBIA) resource represents
a mechanism that allows you to communicate through the Java Messaging Service
(JMS) with the connector component of the WebSphere Business Integration
Adapter. The connector component processes administrative commands that control
the state of the connector.
To view this administrative console page, click Resources > WebSphere
Business Integration Adapters > New.
Configuration tab
- Name
- Specifies the name of the WBIA resource.
A string with no spaces meant to be a meaningful text identifier for the
WBIA resource.
- Description
- Specifies a text description of the WBIA resource.
A free-form text string to describe the WBIA resource and its purpose.
- Category
- An optional field that is used to classify or group the WBIA resources.
- Queue Connection Factory JNDI Name
- Specifies a list of JNDI names, which are used to create connections
to the associated WebSphere Business Integration Adapters JMS destinations.
- Administrative Input Queue JNDI Name
- Specifies a list of JNDI names for the queues WebSphere Application
Server uses to send administrative commands to the Websphere Business Integration
Adapter.
- Administrative Output Queue JNDI Name
- Specifies a list of JNDI names for the queues WebSphere Application
Server uses to receive administrative messages from the Websphere Business
Adapter.
- Message Timeout
- Specifies the number of seconds WebSphere Application Server waits
to receive administrative messages from the Websphere Business Adapter before
a timeout occurs for that session. The default value is 30 seconds.
