ORB::run

Overview The run() method is used to provide execution resources to the ORB for processing requests.
Original class CORBA::ORB
Exceptions CORBA::SystemException

Intended Usage

The run() method is intended to be used by server applications to cause the ORB to enter an infinite request processing loop. This method will block until the ORB has completed the shutdown process, initiated when some thread calls the CORBA::ORB::shutdown() method.

Syntax

void run();

Example

#include <corba.h>

// Assume "op" points to the ORB object
// Enter the request-processing loop.
op->run();
