Output port collection
Use this page to view the configuration properties of output ports.
The Output port defines the parameters required by the extended messaging
sender bean. These properties define the destination for the message being
sent, together with optional details if a response is expected.
To view this administrative console page, click Resources > Extended
Messaging Providers > Output Port .
Configuration tab
- Name
- The name by which the output port is known for administrative purposes.
- JNDI Name
- The JNDI name for the output port.
- Description
- A description of the output port, for administrative purposes.
- Category
- A string that can be used to classify or group the resource.
- JMS Connection factory JNDI name
- The JNDI name for the JMS connection factory to be used by the
output port; for example, jms/connFactory1.

- JMS Destination JNDI name
- The JNDI name for the destination to be used by the output port;
for example, jms/destn1.
- JMS Delivery Mode
- Specifies whether all messages sent to the destination are persistent
or non-persistent.
