Finding a rule

Why and when to perform this task

To search for a specific rule using the Rule Management Application Find function, proceed as follows:

Steps for this task

  1. To search through all rules in all folders:
    1. From the main menu of the Rule Browser, click Edit > Find.
    2. Use the tabs in the Find Rules window to determine your search criteria.
  2. To search a specific folder:
    1. Right-click the folder and select Find from the list.
    2. Use the tabs in the Find Rules window to determine your search criteria.

What to do next

The results of your search are displayed in a Search Results window.
