[Version 5.0.2 and later]Administering the WebSphere Business Integration Adapter service

Why and when to perform this task

WebSphere Business Integration Adapter is a service, which is accessed like the other services that run in WebSphere Application Server and provide support for enterprise applications. In the adminstrative console, you access all the available services from the Servers entry.

To access the WBIA service, complete the following steps:

Steps for this task

  1. Select Application Server > serverName > Additional Properties > WBIA Service.
  2. Check the Startup box, if you want WebSphere Application Server to start the WBIA service when WebSphere starts.
  3. Select the Manage the WBIA resources from the Additional Properties section.

The Manage the WBIA resources panel displays all the WBIA resources that you configured previously. You can now manage the WBIA resources by clicking on a command. See article, Managing the WebSphere Business Integration Adapters, for a description of the WBIA commands. The WBIA wsadmin commands article provides WBIA wsadmin command examples.
