[Version 5.0.2 and later]Managing processes

This describes how to manage business processes.

Before you begin

Verify that the business process container is installed and configured for each application server where you want to install your application.

Why and when to perform this task

The way in which you install and uninstall business process application depends on whether the process is a process based on the Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) or a V5.0-style process. For information about performing such actions using administration scripts, see the Technote.

What to do next

If you installed a process application on a cluster, verify that the application uses the data source that is named after the cluster. For example, if the application was generated assuming the default data source BPEDB, change the data source for the application to BPEDB_cluster_name, where cluster_name is the name of the cluster where you installed the application.
