Error description Customer uses both admin console and scripts to install application ear files in a network deployment environment and temp files in the <WAS_ROOT>/DeploymentManager/config/temp directory. The temp file names are in the form of app12345.ear where the file always begins with the letters app followed by a series of numbers and has the .ear extentionLocal fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After the installation of an * * application using WSADMIN, the * * temporary ear file is not removed. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** There was no code to ensure the temporary file was removed after a wsadmin install of an application. This problem only affected the Network Deployment (ND) environment.Problem conclusion Code was added to delete the temporary ear file used by wsadmin.
