Error description
BBODCHFS calls BBODCPYD which then calls
BBOWBMPT with the HFS dataset name passed in.
 < reference BBOWBMPT code >
In testcase the mount actually failed.
ie... address syscall mount  $mntpt
$hfsdsn "HFS" mtm_rdwr should have had a
nonzero RC (I can see that the HFS did
indeed NOT get mounted), but the results
in the output show otherwise. I did
not go down the failure path and get the
appropriate messages. (yes, got a failure,
but from code that should never have run
...never should have gotten to the chmod,
chown eps).
Here is the output in question:
.
The EXEC to create the directories has
begun.
It will run for a couple of minutes.
The EXEC has completed with Return Code 12
Check the SYSOUT held OUTPUT for further
details.
READY
END
The EXEC ran at 10:20:10 on 24 Feb
2005
 Mounted filesystem
'OMVSSPC.WAS51.IJKP.CONFIG.HFS' on

None. No directories were created.
Following directories already exist:

Problems creating the following directories:

Command: CHMOD /WebSphere/V5R1M0 775 failed
    RC=8B    RSN=4
Command: CHOWN /WebSphere/V5R1M0 2403

RC=8B    RSN=14
End of EXEC.

Further investigation shows that BBOWBMPT
is incorrectly checking rc in at least a couple
of places on 'syscalls'.
From the documentation for syscalls:
RC 0 - The command finished successfully.
If there is an error code
for the requested function,
it is returned in RETVAL and ERRNO.
The code checks rc and not RETVAL and/or ERRNO
as it should.

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

When the Customization Dialog mount job is submitted from any
ser id other than UID=0, the job failed with the following
message:

Problem conclusion
The Customization Dialog will be changed so that the mount job
will fail and not continue with the chmod when it is submitted
from any user id other than UID=0.
