An C++ stub with type id IDL:omg.org/CORBA/Object:2.0 was
narrowed to type IDL:omg.org/CosTransaction/Coordinator:x.0.
The giop version from the original IOR containing the Object
type id was not propagated into the narrowed proxy, resulting
in a message with an invalid GIOP version.

The key to identifying this problem is recognizing a failure
to narrow an IDL: type id. Quick inspection of GIOP traces
on either the client or server side (tracedetail=3 on z/WAS)
will show an _is_a response that starts with:
  |0000|47494F50 00000000 ....
Problem conclusion
GIOP version is propagated when C++ IDL-based proxies are
narrowed.

APAR PQ83006 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W502001 of
