![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Currently when the JMS retry limit for the Message Listener Port is reached the following WARNING message is displayed in the sysprint, . Trace: 2004/10/13 22:15:45.056 01 t=8BBE88 c=UNK key=P8 (13007002) FunctionName: com.ibm.ejs.jms.listener.WS390ServerSession SourceId: com.ibm.ejs.jms.listener.WS390ServerSession Category: WARNING ExtendedMessage: JMSRetryLimitReached . The severity of this message will be raised so it can come out in a way that is more usable to the customer for an automation environment.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the JMS Retry Limit is reached for * * a Message Driven Bean the message * * 'WMSG0036E: Maximum message delivery * * retry count of 10 reached for MDB * * PtoPSampleMDB, JMSDestination * * Sample/JMS/Q1, MDBListener stopped' * * is only issued when the MDB trace * * setting is used with at least warning * * level enabled. The associated Listener * * Port is stopped without any indication. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The message 'WMSG0036E: Maximum message delivery retry count of 10 reached for MDB PtoPSampleMDB, JMSDestination Sample/JMS/Q1, MDBListener stopped' is only issued if warning trace is enabled for the MDB trace setting. This is unacceptable since the Listener Port is stopped and no message is issued if trace is not enabled.Problem conclusion The WMSG0036E message is now to be issued as an audit message. This will allow the message to be displayed even if trace is not enabled for the MDB trace setting. The message will also be issued to the JESMSGLG. APAR PQ98028 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W502022 of WebSphere Application Server V5.0 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
