|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description WSAM requests information of PMI that PMI can not get, at the time of the request, so PMI generates invalid messages. PMI will mask the indentified messages so that they only display when a full trace is selected on PMI.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere PMI code displaying warning * * messages(PMI0002W) and filling up the * * system log. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The WebSphere PMI code displays a warning message(PMI0002W) when it can't access a requested MBean. The number of these messages depends on the requests made by the monitoring tool and whether the requested MBean is available. Since not all MBeans are always available this could cause many warning messages in the log.Problem conclusion The PMI code was changed to not display the warning messages except while tracing is active. APAR PK06132 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W502031 of WebSphere Application Server V5.0 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
