![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description No MBean corresponding to a JMS ConnectionFactory is created, even after the ConnectionFactory is first used. This means that one cannot use wsadmin scripting to get an MBean corresponding to the JMS ConnectionFactory for use with the AdminControl object. . In particular, the following wsadmin command will not show any matching MBeans for a JMS ConnectionFactory: . (Jacl syntax) $AdminControl queryNames *,type=J2CConnectionFactory . Further, one can not use wsadmin to display the pool contents for the pool associated with this JMS ConnectionFactory.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: No MBean corresponding to a JMS * * ConnectionFactory is created for * * wsadmin scripting. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** No MBean corresponding to a JMS ConnectionFactory is created, even after the ConnectionFactory is first used. This means that the AdminControl 'queryNames' wsadmin scripting command cannot be used to get an MBean corresponding to the JMS ConnectionFactory for use with the AdminControl object. In particular, the following wsadmin command will not show any matching MBeans for a JMS ConnectionFactory: (Jacl syntax) $AdminControl queryNames *,type=J2CConnectionFactory Further, wsadmin cannot be used to display the pool contents for the pool associated with this JMS ConnectionFactory.Problem conclusion An MBean is created for each JMS ConnectionFactory defined via the WebSphere Administrative Console or wsadmin scripting. This MBean is now available for wsadmin scripting (e.g. using the AdminControl object). Note that the MBean is only created when the ConnectionFactory is first used (i.e. a JNDI lookup has been performed from a JMS application or an MDB mapped to a ListenerPort using this ConnectionFactory has been started).
