![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description After a session timeout in the admin console with security enabled, customers may experience elevated CPU in the DMGR address space along with the following message in their joblog: Failure Exit from -> SecurityManager::secureSocketInit . At the browser, you may also see the login box appear in the incorrect panel in the admin console application, and the browser may appear to be looping (attempting to refresh itself).Local fix Close the browser, and reopen the admin console.Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Login box appears in a frame of the * * administrative console and/or elevated * * CPU usage in the Deployment Manager. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** After an active administrative console session has terminated (e.g. due to a timeout), the login box sometimes appears in a frame of the original administrative console page, rather than as a full page itself. In some cases, the browser appears to be looping (repeatedly attempting to refresh the page), CPU usage in the Deployment Manager address space is elevated, and the following message appears in the job log: Failure Exit from -> SecurityManager::secureSocketInitProblem conclusion The code that displays the login box was updated to ensure that it is always a full page. This also eliminates the "looping" and elevated CPU usage. APAR PQ82188 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W502004 of WebSphere Application Server V5.0 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
