Error description
Application has the access intent policy set to wsOptimisticRead
which should result in access to DB2 with an isolation level of
cursor stability, however from the JDBC traces DB2 is accessed
with an isolation level of Repeatable Read. Customer noticed a
high level of lock escalation due to the access to DB2 with a
repeatable read isolation level.

When an isolation level is changed for a shared connection
with no handles, which is used in a global transaction, the
change does not take effect possibly causing database access
performance degradation due to unnecessary locks and lock
escalations.
Problem conclusion
Support has been modified such that changing an isolation level
is allowed for a shared connection with no handles that is used
in a global transaction.
