Error description WebSphere SMF 120 records do not contain CPU time for Message Driven Bean work.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The SMF Type 120 records written by * * WebSphere Application Server for z/OS * * do not include data for Message Driven * * Bean (MDB) requests. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When processing IIOP and HTTP requests data is collected and reported in SMF Type 120 records. However, for MDB requests, no data is collected and therefore no SMF Type 120 records are written to account for the resources used by these requests.Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments This APAR is being closed FIN with concurrence from the submitting customer. A solution to this problem will be delivered in a WebSphere Application Server for z/OS release within the next 18 months.
