Problem |
The documentation in the infocenter for enabling access
and error logging is for distributed platforms only. Due to the unique
architecture, this feature was not implemented on the z/OS version of the
product. However, version 6.0 of the product does contain an enhanced
version of access/error logging mechanisms for the internal
transport. |

Solution |
There is currently no way to gather access/error log
information on WebSphere version 5.0 on z/OS that is equivalent to
distributed platforms. |
