Error description wsadmin.sh does not require -user/-passwordLocal fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: User are able to login to wsadmin.sh * * without -user & -password when security * * is enabled. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The execution path failed to create an unauthenticated WScredential and Principal in the event of wsadmin.sh receiving null parameter values for -user and -password while security was enabled & using a LocalOS RegistryProblem conclusion Support was modified such that the execution path now generates an Unauthenticated WSCredential and a Principal upon the event of null -user & -password parameters being passed to wsadmin.sh. APAR PQ76841 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W500104 of WebSphere Application Server V5.0 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
