Error description
Various errors during the installation jobs and/or the startup
of the WebSphere Version 5 Procs, when installing WebSphere
Version 5 on a system where multiple versions of WebSphere for
z/OS are on the same system.
.
The instructions for customizing WebSphere for z/OS Version 5
that are generated in 'hlq.applname.CNTL' dataset, in member
BBOSSINS, during the ISPF Customization dialogs are not clear
in Step 8.
of the 'Doing manual configuration updates' section.
.
Step 8 needs more explanation for ALL of the WebSphere V5 module
placement when installing on a system that has multiple versions
of WebSphere on it.
.
If the system where Version 5 of WebSphere is being installed
has another version of WebSphere (e.g. Version 4) installed on
the system, then ALL of the WebSphere V5 libraries (SBBOLPA,
SBBOLOAD, and SBBOLD2) MUST be //STEPLIB'd to.
.
During the installation dialogs, Panel 'System Locations 1 of 2'
(panelid BBOWPS11), be sure to set 'N' for the question for each
of the datasets, (SBBOLOAD, SBBOLD2, SBBOMIG, and SBBOLPA).
Setting this to 'N' will generate the proper //STEPLIB DD cards
for all of the appropriate Jobs / Procs.
