Error description Various errors during the installation jobs and/or the startup of the WebSphere Version 5 Procs, when installing WebSphere Version 5 on a system where multiple versions of WebSphere for z/OS are on the same system. . The instructions for customizing WebSphere for z/OS Version 5 that are generated in 'hlq.applname.CNTL' dataset, in member BBOSSINS, during the ISPF Customization dialogs are not clear in Step 8. of the 'Doing manual configuration updates' section. . Step 8 needs more explanation for ALL of the WebSphere V5 module placement when installing on a system that has multiple versions of WebSphere on it. . If the system where Version 5 of WebSphere is being installed has another version of WebSphere (e.g. Version 4) installed on the system, then ALL of the WebSphere V5 libraries (SBBOLPA, SBBOLOAD, and SBBOLD2) MUST be //STEPLIB'd to. . During the installation dialogs, Panel 'System Locations 1 of 2' (panelid BBOWPS11), be sure to set 'N' for the question for each of the datasets, (SBBOLOAD, SBBOLD2, SBBOMIG, and SBBOLPA).
