ConnectionException: connection failed associated with their application.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Dynacache initialization erroneously * * issues a bind exception message to * * System.out when running multiple * * servant regions. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** During its initialization, Dynacache issues a JNDI bind for its default distributedMap cache instance. When this bind is issued from servant regions that initialize after the first has bound, a bind exception is issued. This exception is actually ignored, but it is written out with a System.out.println. If debug tracing is enabled, the bind exception is logged with a debug trace as well. The System.out.println message leads to the false conclusion that there is a functional error.Problem conclusion The System.out.println statement has been removed. APAR PK25148 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W502041 of WebSphere Application Server V5.0 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
