![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description The .../config/.../deployments/.../wsdl subtree is incomplete. Using IBM webservices in an application produced the following error: BBOO0222I TRAS0014I: The following exception was logged WebServicesFault; fault code: Server.generalException WSWS3166E: Error: No client transport named 'http' found at com.ibm.ws.webservices.engine.client.ClientEngine.createMessageF lowLocal fix Instead of putting the .wsdl under ejb jar file directory /meta-inf/wsdl, put it under the root of the jar, then the webserviceclient.xml file is modified to reflect tha location of the .wsdl.Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Applications that consist of war * * files that have a WSDL with * * a relative import are not expanded * * properly during a deployment * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** With a WebServices application which contains files under Meta-inf/wsdl or Web-inf/wsdl the directories are not expanded properly. The deployment process may run without error, however errors occur when trying to start the application. These errors vary depending on the application. They can be null pointer exceptions or file not found messages that occur because a wsdl directory is not expanded properly during a deployment process. This causes missing XSD files and the .../config/.../deployments/.../wsdl subtree to be is incomplete.Problem conclusion Added the logic to properly expand the Web-inf/wsdl and Meta-inf/wsdl trees if they are present in the war file. APAR PK14419 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W502037 of WebSphere Application Server V5.0 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
