![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description BBOWADDN may fail when the path to a config root contains the word "cells", such as cellsb or cellsp. Node Federation incorrectly sends documents but sends them with the wrong name. They are created in the wrong place on the DMGR and then they have sync errors.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If the word "cells" appeared in the * * path to your WAS_CONFIG root * * (ie: /WebSphere/V5/cells/AppServer) * * the addNode.sh (BBOWADDN job) was * * incorrectly sending files to the dmgr * * causing addNode to fail with error: * * ADMU0005E: * * Error synchronizing repositories * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The addNode command was sending incorrect path information with files as they were sent from the base server to the Deployment Manager during Node Federation (addNode).Problem conclusion The code underlying addNode.sh and BBOWADDN have been modified to correctly send files to the Deployment Manager during Node Federation.
