Error description
the
AMCName on SMF 120 subtype 5 records on the Bean Section record
have
changed from V4 to V5. In V4, the format of the AMCName
(SMF120JB1) was
Application::Module::Component, e.g., MyEAR::MyJAR::MyEJB.  The
"::"
between each name allowed us to determine what the Application
ear file
name, the component Jar name, and the component or EJB name. In
WAS V5
the format is now ApplicationModule.Component. There is no way
to parse
the individual pieces
Customer wishes that the original format be restored.

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
In WebSphere Application Server V4.0.1 for z/OS and OS/390, the
Application-Module-Component (AMC) name was represented in SMF
as the string "ApplicationName::ModuleName::ComponentName" where
each sub-field was seperated by '::'. However in version 5, the
AMC name returned via SMF recording is
"ApplicationNameModuleNameComponentName" where there is no
separation of each sub-field.
Problem conclusion
The Application-Module-Component value returned by SMF should
follow the following format:
   "ApplicationName::ModuleName::ComponentName"  and is
now tokenizable with '::' seperating each sub-field and
is now compatible with WebSphere Application Server V4.0.1 for
z/OS and OS/390 SMF tooling.
