If debug is * * enabled, the message: ADMD0020W: Tcp * * socket failure in receiving package: * * EDC5122I Input/output error. * * (errno2=0x74687308) is found in the * * logs. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** WebSphere falls into a loop, in the Discovery code when TCPIP is stopped. WebSphere attempts to bind to a local port. A retry limit was added, so after three attempts, the Unicast Server shuts down.Problem conclusion Code was added to Discovery to shutdown the UnicastServer after three failed attempts to bind.
