Error description Trying to delete the ras_log_logstreamName in an environment with multiple nodes results in the logstreamName to be deleted for the wrong node.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of Websphere Application Server * * V6.1.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Deleting a shared variable from the * * WebSphere Application Server * * Administrative Console deletes the * * incorrect variable, instead of the * * selected variable. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** In the Environment -> Shared Variables panel of the WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console, clicking on a row may result in a different row getting selected. Even if correct row was selected, attempting to delete one variable may result in the deletion of a different variable. This happens when there are two variables with a different contextId, but the same name.Problem conclusion Changes were made to the selection and deletion code to delete the correct variable when more than one exist with the same name. APAR PK51109 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service Level (Fix Pack) 6.1.0.13 of WebSphere Application Server V6.1 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
