* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere Application Server for z/OS *
* servant or controller region abends *
*                      with an ABEND0C4/ABENDS0C4 when running *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
When the server is running in 64-bit mode and tracing is
enabled, there is a chance that two different routines could
write to a thread specific storage area at the same time,
causing an ABEND0C4/ABENDS0C4.
Problem conclusion
The code has been updated to allocate a new piece of storage if
the shared storage area is already in use.

APAR PK50489 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 6.1.0.15 of WebSphere Application Server V6.1
