* USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server *
*                 V5.0 for z/OS                                *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Need the ability to distribute a *
* workload across multiple server *
* regions before a heavy load occurs. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Before a load is encountered all http requests get routed to the
same server region and establish HTTP Session Affinity to that
server region. When a load is encountered from those same
clients all the requests continue to get routed to the same
server region due to the affinity. This undermines the
usefullness of WLM and it's ability to add server regions
and have them utilized.
Problem conclusion
Add support to the HTTP Transaction Class Mapping ability to map
a single URI to multiple Transaction Classes. The customer can
map those different Transaction Classes to different Service
Classes to cause WLM to route the work to different server
regions. The mapping will use a simple round robin algorithm.
To activate the support, the environment variable must be set:

private_http_transport_class_mapping_round_robin=true
