Error description
While customizing WebSphere Application Server V5.1 for z/OS,
if the sum of characters on the JMS Configuration Panels for
the 'command prefix' and 'jms server short name' exceeds 5,
customers will see an error in the log:
IEE305I xxxxx COMMAND INVALID
where 'xxxxx' is the first 5 characters of the concatenated
command prefix / short name string. For example, if '+a' was
entered for the command prefix, and 'bcde' was entered for the
JMS Server short name, the 'xxxxx' would be '+abcd'.
Local fix
manually start the queue manager, replacing the truncated 5
character string with the full character set, which would be
the concatenation of the command prefix and the JMS server
short name.

The JMS Server requires the specification of the command prefix
during customization. The command prefix is limited to one
character by design, but this limitation is currently not being
enforced in the JMS Server customization panel. This allows
a command prefix to have a length greater than one character
ausing the short queue manager name to shift during the
concatenation of the command prefix and the short queue manager
strings.
Problem conclusion
Limit the command prefix value to one character in the JMS
Server customization panel.
