Closed as program error.

Error description
Because WebSphere uses the cell short name as the name for the
CTRACE DEFINE as well as other places, according to the CTRACE
rules, the name must begin with an alphabetic first character
(or a national character). For example, "1111" may not be used
but "a111" could be used.
.
This apar will enforce this in the Customization Dialog and
wherever else in WebSphere it needs to be enforced.
.
When the cell short name begins with an alphanumeric character
the Daemon will abend with abend 000D with reason 00000201 in
R15 when the Daemon is started for the first time.
.
From the dump, the cell short name can be found as the daemon
group name (DMNGRPNM) field in the BGVT. It can also be seen
in the was.env as variable WAS_DAEMON_daemon_group_name. Also
in the Customization Dialog as "cell short name".
.
A slip may need to be set on the abend 000D to obtain the dump
but a dump is not required for verification of this problem as
the was.env file or Customization Dialog can be used for
verification.
Local fix
Select the cell short name to begin with an alphabetic or
national character, regenerate the Customization Dialog jobs,
and rerun the jobs to redo the customization.

WebSphere uses the cell short name as the name for the
CTRACE DEFINE as well as other places, according to the CTRACE
rules, the name must begin with an alphabetic first character
(or a national character). For example, "1111" may not be used
but "a111" could be used.

When the cell short name begins with an numeric character
the Daemon will abend with ABEND00D/ABENDS00D-00000201 when the
Daemon is started for the first time.

The cause for this is that the current dialog code did not
enforce that short names begin with alphabetic or national
characters.
Problem conclusion
To correct this, the WebSphere for z/OS Customization dialog
will be updated to enforce that cell, node and server short
names must begin with alphabetic or national character and not
numeric.
