Error description It takes about a minute between the time one clicks on the Diagnostic Trace Settings link until the page actually displays.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V5.0 for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In the Administrative Console, the * * Diagnostic Trace panel takes a long * * time to display. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** In the Administrative Console, it takes a long time to display the Diagnostic Trace panel because many MBean queries are occurring between Deployment Manager and a server's Controller and Servant. Navigation to the Diagnostic Trace panel is: Troubleshooting-> Logs and Trace -> <server> ->Diagnostic TraceProblem conclusion The TraceService MBean code was updated to add a method which will gather all the trace component information from the servant. The Administrative Console code was updated to use this new method. APAR PK02516 is associated with SERVICE LEVEL W502028 of WebSphere Application Server V5.0 for z/OS.Temporary fix Comments
