![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description There is a maximum limit for number of HTTP headers that can be sent to WebSphere in a request. In IHS this is configurable via LimitRequestFields directive in httpd.conf file. THe maximum hea ders by default is 100, if there are more than 100 headers in a request then WebSphere fails to handle the request.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users with * * client applications that interface directly * * to the HTTP Transport and send more than * * 100 header fields per request. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere does not accept requests * * with more than 100 headers. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** WebSphere has a hardlimit maximum of 100 headers per request.Problem conclusion Increased the number of headers per request to 500.Temporary fix Comments
