* and consumes a high portion of CPU *
* time. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: *
****************************************************************
Security cache alarm starts too often and consumes a high
portion of CPU time. The number exceeded the maximum
value of a positive integer and, as a result, was stored as
a negative number. This caused the cache alarm to contantly
signal for cache cleanup.
Problem conclusion
A long (64 bit value) is now used instead of an integer
(32 bit value).
Temporary fix
test internally
