Resolving the
problem |
The following are directives added for version 5.0.1, that
are missing from the ibmproxy.conf file for Windows platform:
ExportCacheImageTo and ImportCacheImageFrom:
Use these directives only for memory cache. They help save cached objects
when stopping the proxy. You can use these directives to deploy the same
cache content among multiple proxies.
- An example of the ExportCacheImageTo directive:
#if defined (WIN32)
# Examples: ExportCacheImageTo \\.\D:\CacheImage.0
#else
# Examples: ExportCacheImageTo /opt/ibm/edge/cp/CacheImage.0
#endif
If you enable ExportCacheImageTo, when the proxy process ends with a
-TERM signal and memory cache is used, the proxy exports its memory cache
contents to the specified file. You must ensure that there is enough space
on the drive or partition for the file.
- An example of the ImportCacheImageFrom directive:
#if defined (WIN32)
# Examples: ImportCacheImageFrom \\.\D:\CacheImage.0
#else
# Examples: ImportCacheImageFrom /opt/ibm/edge/cp/CacheImage.0
#endif
If you enable ImportCacheImageFrom, when the proxy process starts and
memory cache is used the proxy imports cache content from the specified
file.
LimitRequestBody, LimitRequestFields, and
LimitRequestFieldSize:
These directives protect the proxy from attack.
- LimitRequestBody size
This directive controls the maximum body size in PUT or POST requests.
(Default value is 10M.)
- LimitRequestFields number
This directive controls the number of headers sent in client requests.
(Default value is 32.)
- LimitRequestFieldSize size
This directive controls the maximum header length and request line.
(Default value is 4K bytes.)
