APAR status Closed as program error. Error description IHS unable to start session ID caching daemon during install, defalt install directory changes in 1.3.26 from the way it worked in 1.3.19... causes default setting for SIDD cache daemon to be wrongLocal fix n/aProblem summary During the startup of IHS with SSL configured, an error is received indicating that the Session ID cache daemon ( sidd ) could not be started. The problem is that the SSL module is using a hardcoded path for the sidd executable which no longer matches the default install directory.Problem conclusion The problem was fixed by changing the SSL module so that it will determine the path where 'sidd' is installed dynamically. The following COMPID's are affected by these changes: 5648B7800 IHS for AIX 5648B7801 IHS for SUN 5648B7803 IHS for HP 5648B7804 IHS for Linux The fix will be available in the next service refresh for IHS, currently planned as 1.3.26.1. The code changes are stored in CMVC under defect PQ70166.Temporary fix Comments
