Error description
IHS 2.0.47 mod_speling is being passed a non-file request to
check. mod_speling incorrectly assumed that a filename had
been provided in the internal request record, and crashed when
trying to scan it. mod_speling can't check the spelling of
anything but real file requests.
It needs to decline to handle requests like this.
Local fix
N/A
Problem summary
mod_speling needed to check that the filename
field in the Apache API request record was set before reading
it. This filename field will not be set for WebSphere requests.
Because this check was bypassed, mod_speling could segfault
when a WebSphere request was received.
Problem conclusion
mod_speling has been modified to skip
processing of requests which do not have the filename
information (such as WebSphere requests).
