PQ92940: XERCES PARSER INDICATES INVALID XML ERROR FOR GMTTIME ELEMENT

Error description
Xerces parser rejects value for GMT Time element as invalid. In
the customer's application the value was rejected with message:
The value '2004-08-05T17:26:07.906Z' of element
'RequestGMTTimestamp' is not valid.
Application is a Web Service and WS Client using an XML
Schema with an attribute defined with xs:dateTime. The
application is receiving the error on SOME (not all)
elements defined as xs:dateTime. Other elements within
the same Document are defined as xs:dateTime, and never
receive an error.  In this case only the element
"RequestGMTTimestamp" produces an error. For this customer
the error occurred at V5.0.2 and V5.0.2.3.

Problem conclusion
This problem is fixed by XML4J 4.0.17, which is being dropped
into 5.0.2.x service packs using APAR 
PQ92901.
