* USERS AFFECTED: This problem affects customers who use the *
* Java Message Service (JMS) functionality *
* provided with WebSphere Application Server *
*                 Version 5.x in a clustered environment.      *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Exception is thrown when an application *
* without cmm dependencies is deployed to *
* an App Server in an clustered *
*                      environment.                            *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
In a cluster setup for WAS Enterprise Edition, the Deployment
Manager has the cmm and cmmImpl jar files. If there is an
AppServer in the cluster setup that was installed without cmm
support and an application that does NOT have cmm dependencies
is deployed to the AppServer, an error is then thrown. This is
because the task list generated by the Deployment Manager,
always checks for cmm details without validating whether the
client application being deployed on the Appserver has any cmm
references / depemdencies.
Problem conclusion
The code has been changed to validate if there are any cmm
references / dependencies before checking for details and will
remove it from the task list if there are none.
