Now you will see all PME extensions are missing.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server Enterprise * * Edition user in a Network Deployment * * Environment. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Enterprise Edition administrative * * console extensions are lost when a node * * is added to a Network Deployment cell * * and later removed. The admin console * * will run correctly, but all Enterprise * * Edition resources or services are * * missing. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** WebSphere Enterprise Edition Installer doesn't update the adminconsole.ear in the config tree during install. So later when the removeNode operation is run, it reinstalls the old adminconsole.ear in the config tree. This old copy does not contain the Enterprise Edition admin console extensions.Problem conclusion The WebSphere Enterprise Edition 5.0.2 installer/uninstaller will now properly update the adminconsole.ear and its back-up file. Customers running into this problem or customers on release 5.0 or 5.0.1 will need to manually backup the adminconsole.ear file after installing or uninstalling the WebSphere Enterprise Edition. Scripts and instructions have been provided to help the customer restore the Enterprise console extensions and to perform this backup.Temporary fix Comments
