Workload Management (WLM) does not route requests with pluggable application client
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
If a pluggable client, using the Java™ SDK provided by Sun®, is used to access WebSphere® Application Server V5.0 and V5.1, the requests will not be workload managed.

Cause
Pluggable or Non-Pluggable clients that use the Sun SDK do not have a plug-in point for WLM (Workload Management) even if the WLM classes are present. Unlike the Java SDK shipped by IBM®, therefore, requests are sent to one server.

Resolving the problem
There is presently no solution if you use Sun SDK. For future consideration, you can open a feature request through your marketing representative. Currently there is no workaround.
