Error description I have gone through the javacores and there appears to be a deadlock occurring within the session manager which causes connections to get held up by it.Local fix Not applicableProblem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server -- Session * * Manager Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Deadlock condition can occur in the * * Session Manager under heavy load * * conditions. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A deadlock was seen in the Session Manager under very heavy load causing a deadlock to occur between two threads trying to access the same resource. The deadlock was seen when a thread was trying to access a session while another thread was trying to remove it from the in memory cache because the cache was filled.Problem conclusion The deadlock condition is now avoided by shifting the synchronization points in the Session Manager.Temporary fix PQ68480Comments
