Graph might eventually become corrupted when using the Tivoli Performance Viewer replay feature
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
This is a known, but very erratic issue, which appears to only happen when using XWindows sessions to Unix® platforms. When replaying a Tivoli® Performance Viewer (TPV) XML log, the displayed graph might sporadically freeze, be lost or become unreadable.

Cause
This problem is not caused by IBM® code. The problem is in the JChart Package used by IBM to generate the graph.

Resolving the problem
There is no known workaround for this problem. This problem has not been detected when using Windows® to replay the TPV XML logs.

To follow up on this problem with the publisher of the JChart Package, you can open a ticket with Quest software support, formally known as Sitraka. They sell the JClass product, which contains the JChart Package.
