APAR status Closed as program error. Error description If a client has PME WSAS 5.0 EJB client connecting to a WSAS 4.0 server group there is a problem when the server group is restarted. The EJB client fails to recreate so ORB errors are thrown: org.omg.CORBA.NO_IMPLEMENT To get around this issue the client will have to recycle the EJB client. This is fix in BASE with PQ79333, but PME requires this fix.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users of WLM * * or Clustering. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere 5.0.2 Enterprise Edition * * (PME) does not interoperate with * * WebSphere 4.0. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** WebSphere 5.0.2 Enterprise Edition (PME) does not interoperate with WebSphere 4.0. As a result, the WAS 5.0.2 Enterprise client has to be restarted in order for it to work again.Problem conclusion The interop code wasn't complete and needed to be completed.Temporary fix Restart the 502 PME client.Comments
