Two-tier high-availability solution for Site Selector does not work if the Dispatcher machine is running on Linux
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
If the Dispatcher machine is a Linux server, the high availability feature using a two-tier configuration with Dispatcher load balancing traffic across multiple Site Selectors does not work.

Resolving the problem
When using a two-tier configuration with a Dispatcher machine load-balancing traffic across multiple servers that contain Site Selector, do not use a Linux server as the Dispatcher machine. This configuration does not run correctly using Linux.
Instead, use a Dispatcher machine that is an AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, or Windows(R) system when running this type of configuration.

Note: The high availability solution for Site Selector does not work on Linux due to Dispatcher advisors targeting the server IP address. Site Selector responds using its primary IP address (as opposed to the cluster address), causing the DNS request from the requestor to fail.
