Resolving the problem
For Linux and UNIX systems, the Edge Components V6.0 GUI uninstaller cannot be used to uninstall a refresh pack (for example, V6.0.1 or higher). You must first uninstall the refresh pack using native commands (the operating system's commands) before you uninstall V6.0 components using the V6.0 GUI uninstaller.
A similar problem occurs if you attempt to use, for example, the V5.0 GUI uninstaller to remove a V5.0.1 or higher refresh pack that is installed using native commands.

In general, if the component packages are installed using the native commands, you must use the native commands to uninstall them. If you used the GUI installer, the component packages must be removed using the GUI uninstaller.
