Administrator identification and password for accessing Caching Proxy administration forms is case-sensitive on all platforms
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
When using the htadm command to generate the password file, the user name and password are case-sensitive, even if the operating system (such as Windows®) accepts user names and passwords that are not case-sensitive.

Resolving the problem
Because the htadm tool is case-sensitive, there is a requirement that the user name and password that are entered when accessing the Caching Proxy Configuration and Administration forms be exactly the same as the user name and password configured using the htadm command. This applies to all operating systems.
The htadm command is used to control your server password files. Consult the Caching Proxy Administration Guide for detailed usage of the htadm command.
