MustGather for problems with the WebSphere® Application
Server plug-in component on all releases of V5.0 and V5.1. Gathering this
information before calling IBM support helps familiarize you with the
troubleshooting process and saves you time. |

Plug-in specific MustGather information
For WebSphere Application Server V5.0 and V5.1 (all releases), you might
encounter one of the following problems with plug-in regeneration:
- Plug-in regeneration fails to update
plugin-cfg.xml file.
- Plug-in regeneration throws an error.
Plug-in Regen fails on command prompt.
- Run GenPluginCfg.sh or GenPluginCfg.bat with -debug yes
option.
GenPluginCfg.sh -debug yes
- Copy the output of the command prompt and paste it in to a
text file regenOutput.txt
- Run the collector tool on the base node. See the Information
Center specific to the version of WebSphere you are running for
additional information.
- Sent the output of collector tool and regenOutput.txt
- Follow instructions to send
diagnostic information to IBM support
