Error description
Loading plugin into Apache 2.0 fails with unresolved symbols.
Local fix Problem summary
****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: All WebSphere Application Server, Version 5 *
* users running Apache 2.0 on AIX. *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Apache 2.0 plugin failed to load *
* due to unresolved symbols errors. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: *
****************************************************************
The plugin is using export files which look for hardcoded
library names. Starting with release 2.0.44 of Apache, they
began versioning the Apache Portable Runtime ( APR ) libraries
and updating the library name to contain the version number. As
a result of the libary name change, the plugin was unable to
find the libraries and resolve its symbols.
Problem conclusion
Updated the plugin build so that real time linking occurs on
AIX. The plugin will resolve its symbools through an HTTPD
executable at runtime.
