Getting background information on DRS
In WebSphere Application Server, data replication domains use the data
replication service (DRS), which is an internal WebSphere Application
Server component that performs replication services, including replicating
data, objects, and events for session manager, dynamic cache, or stateful
session beans among the application servers in a cluster.
If you used DRS in WebSphere Application Server v5.x you might be using
a multi-broker replication domain.. In WebSphere Application Server v6.x
environments multi-broker replication domains are not created. However,
they can be migrated from existing WebSphere Application Server V5
environments. If you migrate V5 multi-broker replication domains, you can
use the Multi-broker domain panel in the V6 administrative console to
manage these domains.
To learn the differences between the two
types of replication domains see the WebSphere Application Server V6
Information Center.
For information on configuring Replication
within the WebSphere Application Server, go to the WebSphere Application
Server V6 Information Center. |
