Using third-party JMS providers with WebSphere Application Server
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
Can I use Sonic MQ as an external Java™ Message Service (JMS) provider for my JMS applications running in WebSphere® Application Server?

Resolving the problem
Yes, you can define a JMS provider for Sonic MQ or any other JMS product. You can then define connection factories for that provider. The key is that you must use the native administrative tool of the product to create the actual Queues and Topics and then bind them into Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI).
