Abstract
When using the perfServlet to monitor the connection pool, the integrals of some of the values decrease in the output from the servlet. The integral should not decrease.

USERS AFFECTED:
IBM® WebSphere® Application Server 5.0 (Base and Network Deployment) PMI Users

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Incorrect connection pool percent used by PMI metric. The percent used by PMI metric in the Connection Pool module does not provide the correct value. The value may be negative at some points. The integral portion of the metric is not incremental.

The calculation of pool size did not bring the appropriate counters to the current time and so the integral was negative, which leads to a negative average.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The counters that are used to calcuate the pool size are updated to have the same time for integral. The problem is fixed by updating the integral before using it.
