Problem(Abstract) |
Additional options are available for the Proxy or ProxyWAS
rule.
Caching Proxy provides directives that require additional pattern matching
at runtime. To improve the Caching Proxy performance, you can use these
directives as options in the Proxy or ProxyWAS rule.
The minimum release levels that support this directive are: 4.0.2.57,
5.0.2.36, 5.1.1.10, 6.0.2.0 |

Resolving the
problem |
Use the following additional OPTIONS at the end of the
Proxy or ProxyWAS rule:
USESESSION
This option instructs Caching Proxy to maintain a one-to-one mapping
between the client-side socket and the outgoing socket. This option is
useful for some applications, such as connection-based authentication,
that need the proxy to keep the server-side socket alive and reuse the
socket for the requests coming from same client-side socket.
NOCACHING
If the proxy rule is matched, this option instructs the proxy not to cache
the corresponding responses.
NOCACHEONRANGE
If the proxy rule is matched and there is a Range header in the request,
this option instructs the proxy not to cache the corresponding response.
NOJUNCTION
Use this option if the junction rewrite plug-in is enabled. This option
does not allow the proxy to rewrite the corresponding responses if the
incoming URL is matched.
JUNCTIONPREFIX:/prefix-string
Use this option if the junction rewrite plug-in is enabled. Instead of
inferring the junction prefix from the first URL pattern in the proxy
rule, the option explicitly declares the junction rewrite prefix.
Syntax:
Proxy
incoming-url-pattern outgoing-url-pattern [server]:[port]
[USESESSION | NOCACHING | NOCACHEONRANGE | NOJUNCTION |
JUNCTIONPREFIX:/prefix-string]
Example:
Proxy /test/* http://server.com/test*
