APAR status Closed as program error. Error description When the EndPtEnabler command is run against an EAR file to create a web service, the following error is occuring: [EndpointEnablerTask] WSWS2041W: The -enableHttpRouterSecurity option was specified, [EndpointEnablerTask] yet the EJB jar ptool-ejb.jar contains at least one unprotected EJB or the existing [EndpointEnablerTask] security information is incomplete. Therefore, security information will not be added It appears that the command is looking in the wrong place for the authorization table to add the security information.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the EndpointEnabler.bat tool * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The EndpointEnabler fails if J2EE * * security is specified. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** If J2EE security roles and users have been specified in the J2EE deployment descriptors, the EndpointEnabler.bat tool does not process the EJB jar correctly and fails to create an HTTP Router Module.Problem conclusion The EndpointEnabler has been fixed so that this behaviour no longer exists and J2EE security is respected.Temporary fix Comments
