APAR status
Closed as program error.

Error description
If a bean class has a dependency on a class that resides in a
JAR file that is located in a 'lib' folder in the Enterprise A
pplication Module, then EJB Deploy fails to locate this class an
d therefore fails to deploy the bean.
Local fix
Rename the 'lib' folder to anything other than 'lib'.
Problem summary

EJB Deploy will fail with a ClassNotFoundException when
installing an application via the Administrative Console if
the EJB module has dependencies on JAR files that are stored
in the lib directory of the Enterprise Application archive.
Problem conclusion
The algorithm used for locating classes in JAR files has been
modified to handle this scenario.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 5.0.2.18 and 5.1.1.12. Please refer to the Recommended
