Error description Manual entries to the plugin-cfg.xml file get overwritten when the plugin is regenerated.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users that * * modify the generated plugin file * * plugin-cfg.xml. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere fails to persist key fields * * that can be modified or added manually * * after plugin regeneration. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** WebSphere's plugin currently permits properties that are currently unable to be set via the admin console or other administrative tools. The current workaround is to manually modify the generated plugin-cfg.xml for that server. When plugin regeneration is called, these values are not being retained.Problem conclusion Modified the plugin regeneration code to persist key fields similar to the current behavior in WebSphere 4.0.Temporary fix ZE FIX ERROR PQ72596 02/03/28Comments
