"Tuning parameter custom settings" information center topic does not clearly describe which time zone that you should use when you set the time of day to clear invalidated sessions
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
When you set the time of day to clear sessions that are not valid, the information center documentation implies that you should use Greenwich Mean Time. This information is incorrect as it might cause the sessions to clear at an undesired time of day.

Cause
The "Tuning parameter custom settings" topic, included in the WebSphere® Application Server V5.0 and 5.1 Information Centers, does not clearly describe which time zone that you should use when you set the time of day to clear invalidated sessions.

Resolving the problem
The "Tuning parameter custom settings" topic has been changed to state that you should specify the Schedule sessions cleanup value in the default time zone for the Java™ virtual machine (JVM), which is essentially the local time zone.
