Error description
PQ86349 introduced a necessary safety mechanism to the
updateWizard and updateSilent scripts to prevent the wrong JDK
from being used by the updateInstaller. The safety mechanism
checked that WAS_HOME was defined (in addition to JAVA_HOME
being defined).
This was a necessary and helpful fix, but the error message
associated with the safety check was not updated to reflect that
WAS_HOME also needs to be defined. This has led to some
confusion, as the error message implies that an undefined
JAVA_HOME is the root cause when the actual cause is that either
WAS_HOME or JAVA_HOME is undefined.
Local fix
Update error message to reflect that either JAVA_HOME or
WAS_HOME is not defined. The suggested resolution (run
setupCmdLine) is still valid and does not need to be changed.

****************************************************************
When a users runs the update Installer without
executing/sourcing the setupCmdLine/setupClient, a message was
being shown saying the JAVA_HOME was not set. This is
incorrect. In many cases this message can be generated by the
WAS_HOME not being set.
Problem conclusion
The message has been modified to include the WAS_HOME as part
of the error message shown.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
in cumulative fix 5.02.13
