APAR status
Closed as program error.

Error description
Tivoli Perforamnce Viewer client, running on either separate
Windows or same AIX 5.3 Server where WebSphere 5.0.2.17
jvm process is running and being monitored, hangs when
attempting to rewind Binary log files. The application must then
be force terminated from Windows Task Manager or AIX Kill
process command.

The log reading thread was not stopped after EOF and this
caused an infinite loop leading to the hang of the TPV client.
Problem conclusion
Modified the code to stop the thread and start a new one after
the binary log file reaches EOF.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
in 5.1.1.12
