Resolving the
problem |
TroubleShooting steps to help resolve Application Client problems
- Are you using a compatible version of an Application Client for your
server? You can check for this here.
- If no, install the proper version of an Application
Client.
- If yes, continue
to Question 2.
- Is there a problem installing the Application Client or installing
maintenance to an Application Client?
- If yes, review the Installation
Instructions for the maintenance being applied in its Readme section,
making sure you have downloaded the Application Client install package. If
the following error occurs when upgrading the Pluggable Client read the
information here:

- If no, continue to Question 3.
- Does a security error such SECJ0395E occur when trying to
connect to the server from the application client?
- If yes, review this technote.
- If no, continue to Question 4.
- Does an org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE occur when trying to
connect to the server from the application client?
- If yes, review this technote.
- If no, continue to Question 5.
- Review the WebSphere Application Server V5,
V5.1,
or V6.0
Information Center, or the WebSphere Application Server Support
site for additional information that might help you to resolve the
problem.
