Solution |
There are two possible solutions to this problem:
- Prior to attempting to update, delete, move, or copy the WAS plugin
(mod_ibm_app_server_http.so), the IBM HTTP Server should be shutdown using
the "/usr/HTTPServer/bin/apachectl stop" command and then verify that no
"httpd" processes are remaining by issuing "ps -ef | grep httpd". Use the
"kill" command to terminate any remaining httpd processes and then attempt
to update, delete, move, or copy the WAS plugin
(mod_ibm_app_server_http.so)
- This error can also occur because a shared library is considered
in-use by the kernel. Some shared libraries on AIX remain loaded even
though there are no processes currently using the shared library. The way
to tell the kernel to unload it is to issue the AIX command "slibclean" as
root:
# /usr/sbin/slibclean
- Move/rename the file (mod_ibm_app_server.http.so).
Once the file has been moved or renamed, you should then be able to apply
or remove the Interim Fix. |
