APAR status
Closed as program error.

Error description
Customer is seeing 1% of db transactions are creating zhombie
processes that are begin aborted and rolled back in SQL server
and ocassionally some of these zhombie's end up orphaned.
Since customer has applied the debug module that changes
rollbacks to commits, they are seeing a far fewer aborted
transactions.  They have requested a permanent fix for this.

The lease manager attenpts to get the lease, and when it
cannot, it would roll back the transaction, which was the
appropriate action. Many orphaned zombie processes were seen on
the SQLServer db server.  This was due to the number of aborted
transactions.
Problem conclusion
To work around this SQL Server problem, we changed the rollbacks
to commits and this eliminated the problem for this
customer.
