Error description
When a SQL error is thrown within a CMP Bean a custom exception
is thrown and caught in the session facade. At that point
setRollbackOnly() is called on the session context but an
IllegalStateException is thrown. This was not happening in
5.0.2.9 or5.0.2.8 but is on 5.0.2.10 and 5.0.2.11. The net
effect is that the s that the transaction is still being rolled
back as a result of the IllegalStateException but essential code
following the catching of the original exception is now not
being called.Platform/operating system: Sun - Solaris 9

****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: *
****************************************************************
There is a problem where an application catches an application
exception (such as a SQLException) and proceeds to call
SetRollbackOnly() that will result in an illegalStateException.
Problem conclusion
The EJBContainer code was adjusted to handle the
application exception approprately and thus allow the
SetRollbackOnly() call to proceed as expected.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
in cumulative fix 5.02.13.
