VeriSign Intermediate Certificate: "A database validation error occurred" or "an error occurred while storing the certificate from the given file."
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
When trying to import a VeriSign certificate with IBM® HTTP Server, you might receive one of the following error messages: "A Database Validation Error Occurred" or "An error occurred while storing the certificate from the given file."

Cause
The user may need to import the "VeriSign Intermediate Signer Certificate" before importing the personal certificate response from VeriSign.

Resolving the problem
The link to the VeriSign site gives information for importing the certificate into the SIGNER section of IKeyman. Once that is done, the VeriSign personal certificate response will import without the error.
A copy of the file needed for import is available through the link provided below.
