![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description DebugAppServerComponentImpl needs to be built with debug.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users of WSAD * * ( WebSphere Studio Application Developer ) * * who use Javascript Debugging or users of * * JSPs that set breakpoints in JSP * * declaration blocks. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users are not able to debug Javascript * * or set breakpoints inside of JSP * * declaration blocks. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** This APAR corrects two problems: 1. Javascript Debugging was broken as the compile options in WebSphere Application Server build environment had changed and there was no debugging information generated for a required class. 2. Breakpoints inside JSP Declaration were not hit the first time as incorrect method name was passed.Problem conclusion For the reported problems: 1. Fixed build/compile options to compile the required class with debugging information for Javascript Debugging to be enabled again. 2. Fixed the incorrect method name, passed from WebSphere Application Server to WebSphere Studio Application Developer in order to stop at breakpoints inside JSP Declaration blocks.Temporary fix Comments
