This behavior is corrected in cumulative fixes V5.0.2.5 and V5.1.0.4.
IBM recommends applying the latest cumulative fixpack.
A potentially undesirable workaround for test or development machines
would be to reinstall WebSphere Studio V5.x into a directory with a
shorter name.
The following solution describes a method of manipulating the WTE
environment that is unsupported by IBM. Please consider this a last-resort
workaround:
- Move the /base_vXXX dir (where XXX = 502 or 51) directory to the root
operating system directory.
- Apply the cumulative fix
- Move it back to its home directory inside WebSphere Studio.
This has not been tested by IBM and is not recommended; again, the desired
solution is to move to a later cumulative fix. |
