Problem(Abstract)
Instructions for enabling and obtaining a plug-in trace on WebSphere® Application Server V4 and V5 releases.
 
Resolving the problem
Modify the plugin-cfg.xml file to contain the following:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Config>
<Log LogLevel="Trace"Name="C:\WebSphere\AppServer\logs\PluginTrace.log"\>
<ServerGroup Name="Single_Server_Group">

The plugin-cfg.xml file is located in the WebSphere Application Server install_root /config directory.
