Installation of Fix Pack 2 fails on the component
prereq.amjrte with error 112 on a copy command, -cp, which uses the
defined classpath. |

Cause |
The copy command uses the %classpath% variable, and the
classpath contains a link to an old Java® Developer Kit. The developer kit
that caused the command to fail is not a developer kit delivered by
IBM. |

The Error is :
Error 112 -- Return code (1) differs from the expected code (0).
To resolve this error :
- Open a command prompt and type SET. This displays all of the
environment variables and the contents.
- Remove the reference to the old Java developer kit from the classpath.
You can also remove the developer kit, if it is not needed.
- Uninstall the failed fix pack.
- Reboot the system.
- Execute the install_root \bin\setupcmdline.bat
command. On Unix®, you must source the command, . ./setupcmdline.sh.
- Verify that no Java, HTTP or Application Server processes are running.
- Retry the fix pack installation.
