Installing and running benchmark or performance applications published through SPEC
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
If you are attempting to install an IBM performance/benchmark application pulled from "SPEC" (a benchmark / performance organization), you will not have all the pieces of the application, such as launch.jar and driver.jar.

Cause
IBM WebSphere performance web sites indicate that benchmark results are published to "SPEC". Because of publishing requirements to substantiate the benchmark claims, pieces of the application that produced the benchmarks are provided through the SPEC site, but it is NOT a complete package. If you wish to actually run the benchmark application, you must contact SPEC and purchase the kit needed.

Resolving the problem
Contact SPEC (http://www.spec.org/spec/) to purchase the kit needed for the benchmark application.
