PQ80853: Migration issue from 4.0.5 to 5.0 when URL rewriting setting is used
 Downloadable files

Abstract
There is a migration issue from V4.0.5 to V5.0 when URL rewriting setting is used instead of Enable cookies at Application Server level.

Download Description
After migration, if the user's V4.0 administrative console application was setup to use URLRewriting, their administrative console in all releases of V5.0 would not work. This only happens when the user chooses migration as an option of install. The reason the administrative console does not work is because it requires cookies as the session mechanism due to the use of struts.

USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM® WebSphere® Application Server that migrate from all releases of V4.0 Advanced to any release of V5.0 using the migration option during install.
