Error description
After applying the WAS fix 6.0.2.21-WS-WAS-IFPK49506.pak, an
exception is thrown by the JDBC mediator. The call stack is as
follows:
Caused by:
com.ibm.websphere.sdo.mediator.jdbc.exception.DBException:
Exception in QueryEngine update

The collision column name is used instead of the property
name when setting the value of the collision column in the
 com.ibm.ws.sdo.mediator.jdbc.queryengine.UpdateBuilder.initiali
ze() method:

int  i =
dataObject().getInt(getTable().collisionColumn().getName())

****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: JDBC mediator OCC columns using *
* property names are not handled *
*                      correctly                               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
If a user of the JDBC Mediator defines an optimistic
concurrency control column that uses an SDO property name
rather than its default column name, an exception will be
thrown during update processing.
Problem conclusion
The JDBC mediator now correctly handles concurrency columns
that use an SDO property name.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.0.2.27 and 6.1.0.15. Please refer to the recommended
