Symptom 1:
The backupConfig runs and completes without errors; however, when you view
or restore, the file structure is missing the first character from the
\config and next directory level names.
You should get:
\config\cells
\temp
\templates
\.repository
What you actually get:
\onfig\ells
\emp
\emplates
\repository
If you look at the machine and expand the directory they appear as they
should. The backupConfig.log file also shows the correct structure.
Symptom 2:
You run the collector tool and it completes without errors; however, when
you view or restore, the file structure is missing the first character.
You also get only a subset of the correct file structure.
You should get:
\config\cells
\temp
\templates
\.repository
\logs
\translogs
\properties
What you actually get:
\onfig\ells
\emp
\emplates
\repository
None of the other directories are gathered.
The wrong JDK is being used, which causes only partial information to be
gathered. |
Run the setupCmdLine script to set correct environment
variables, then rerun your backupConfig script or Collector tool.
If this doesn't resolve the problem, call customer service at
800-IBM-SERV, or call your local country representative to open a PMR.
