Createmq command hangs and does not produce any output
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
When trying to run IBM® WebSphere® Application Server V5.0 with embedded messaging, an attempt to run the createmq script may hang and not produce any output to the screen. The createmq script is run after the deletemq script in order to recreate the embedded queue manager and broker. This may be necessary, for example, if you need to start the application server or jmsserver as a non-root user after previously running as a root user.

Cause
The MQ_home/bin directory is corrupted.

Resolving the problem
Copying the MQ_home/bin directory from the working node to the failing node, the createmq command runs successful. In case a working node is not available, a reinstallation of MQ is required.
