  1. Unable to start the iKeyman user console (GUI) for IBM HTTP Server V2.0.47 or V1.3.28
    When starting the iKeyman user console (GUI), for IBM HTTP Server V2.0.47 or V1.3.28, you receive the following errors:
    Warning: "The Java™ Cryptographic Extension(JCE) files were not found. Please check that the JCE files have been installed in the correct directory"
    Error Message: "You have to register IBMJCE Provider first before you can use ikeyman"

  2. Unable to import a PKCS12 file that is created by IIS or other non-IBM Web server keystores into a CMS or JKS database
    You are attempting to import a PKCS12 certificate into either a GSKit 5 or 7 keystore that uses IBM v1.4.2 SDK or later. However, attempting the import causes the CMS database to produce the following error messages:
    GSKit 5: "An error occurred while importing the selected keys"
    GSKit 7: "The specified database has been corrupted"

  3. How do I get my Microsoft IIS (IIS) Certificate into an IBM HTTP Sever key database?
    The export of an IIS certificate produces a .pfx formatted file. Getting the content of this file into an IBM HTTP Server keystore requires specific steps to extract parts of the .pfx file. These parts then can be incorporated into a key store.

  4. WebSphere plugin for IIS cannot write to plugin log for IIS6 on Microsoft Windows Server 2003IBM WebSphere Application Server plugin for IIS6 webserver on Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 fails to write and possibly even create the plugin log at the path specified in the plugin configuration file, plugin-cfg.xml.

  5. WebSphere Application Server does not support double reading of the input stream
    Calls to the getParameter family of methods fail after the input stream has been read from a request.

  6. Case Study - *.jsp requests not reaching Appserver. Stopped at the plugin
    JSP requests were blocked at the Websphere HTTP Plugin and not properly reaching the Websphere Application Server.
