PME in version 5 and base in * * version6. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Using SQLServer you see orphaned * * zombie processes. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The lease manager attenpts to get the lease, and when it cannot, it would roll back the transaction, which was the appropriate action. Many orphaned zombie processes were seen on the SQLServer db server. This was due to the number of aborted transactions.Problem conclusion To work around this SQL Server problem, we changed the rollbacks to commits and this eliminated the problem for this customer.Temporary fix Comments
