Sourcing setupCmdLine.sh to initialize the WebSphere environment variables
 Flash (Alert)

Abstract
Before installing a new Fix Pack or cumulative fix, it is important to source the setupCmdLine.sh so that the IBM® WebSphere® environment variables are set. $WAS_HOME must be set so that the UpdateWizard can find the correct WebSphere installation. $JAVA_HOME variables must be set so that the installation does not use another JDK™ on the system.

Content
On Linux® and UNIX®-based platforms, run this command to source the script to the parent shell to inherit the exported variables:

# . ./setupCmdLine.sh

There is a space between the 2 periods.
