Error description
The reason the '(' and ')' characters can not be used is that
they will corrupt an XML document. Perfservlet's output is an
XML document.
The data is actually being recorded properly. It simply is not
visible in the perfservlet, but it is available via the TPV.
The issue appears to be with counter in question.
'Samples Cloudscape JDBC Provider (XA)' is not a "Well-Formed"
name from an XML perspective, so perfservlet is seeing that
this name is 'bad' and discarding the entry. The data itself
is properly reported at the higher level node and all other
JDBC connectors are properly accounted for in the report.
Local fix
Simply not to use '(' or ')' in the name of JDBC connection
objects.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The PMI Perforance Servlet is not able *

* RECOMMENDATION: *
****************************************************************
This problem was due to a lack of proper XML processing. We
needed to preprocess out the offending characters. In this
case it was the '(' and ')' characters.
Problem conclusion
The existing XML preprocessor has been updated to include
checks for the '(' and ')' characters.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
in fixpack 5.02.11 and 5.1.1.4.
