APAR status Closed as program error. Error description The problem we are facing with IHS- ikeyman is: If you choose to 'Create a new CMS' file and try saving it, a java core dump is thrown.Local fix This requires LD_PRELOAD to be set to LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libstdc++-libc 6.2-2.so.3, but this is missing from the IHS scripts that ship with Websphere 5.1. Workaround: 1. export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 2. run ikeyman from: /usr/local/ibm/gsk7_gcc295/bin/gsk7ikm_gcc295Problem summary When running IkeyMan on linux(intel) redhat 2.1 AS, a IKeyMan cores when creating key database. Version 1.3.28 and 2.0.47.Problem conclusion Fix ikeyman script to use correct LD_PRELOAD . Tihs is export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3. This can also be used as workaround, set this before running IKeyMan.Temporary fix set export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2- 2.so.3 before running ikeyman. This can be placed in script before gsk7ikm is run, or in the shell itself.Comments
