Problem(Abstract) |
When trying to start the Key Management Utility from
either the command line (gsk5ikm.exe) or from the start menu (Start >
Programs > IBM HTTP Server > Start Key Management Utility) nothing
happens. There are no errors, pop-ups or any messages displayed indicating
the cause of the failure to start. |
|
|
|
Cause |
The root cause of this issue is still under investigation
and APAR PK12837 has been opened. However, IBM® development suspects the
problem has something to do with the application of Windows® 2003 Service
Pack 1 and the internal conflict between the IBM Global Security Kit and
the internal Windows JRE. |

Management Utility.
- Right-click on Start Key Management Utility and select
Properties.
- Select the Compatibility tab.
- Select the Run this program in compatibility mode for: check
box.
- From the pull-down list, select Windows 98/Windows ME.
- Click Apply and then click OK.
