Configuring a collocated server when using Dispatcher's CBR or NAT forwarding method
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
If the Dispatcher resides on the same server machine that you are load balancing (referred to as a collocated server), you must make some special configuration changes when using either the CBR or NAT forwarding method.

Resolving the problem
With Dispatcher's forwarding method (network address translation (NAT) or content-based routing (CBR)) if you plan to use a collocated server, you must configure, or alias, an unused adapter address on the NFA. The server must be configured to listen on this address.
Configure the server using the following command syntax:

dscontrol server add cluster:port:new_alias address new_alias router router_ip returnaddress return_address

Note: The collocated parameter should not be set on for servers that are collocated using Dispatcher's NAT or CBR forwarding method.

Failure to configure for this can lead to system errors, no response from the server, or both.
