Cause |
The problem occurs as the Windows Management
Instrumentation system service uses the file amqxms0n.dll. If you attempt
to install Fix Pack 2 while this service is running, the fix pack is
unable to update the file because it is currently in use.
This problem also occurs when trying to install the full installation
image of v5.0.2, instead of applying the fix pack separately.

|
Solution |
Before installing Fix Pack 2, ensure that the Windows
Management Instrumentation system service is stopped. To stop this
service:
- Select Settings >Control Panel from the Windows Start
menu.
- When the Control Panel appears, click Administrative Tools.
- Click Services.
- The Services applet displays. Highlight the entry for the Windows
Management Instrumentation service in the list of services, right-click
and select Stop from the pop-up menu.
You can now install WebSphere Application Server Fix Pack 2 without any
problems. |
