Error description
.
Problem looks as a dependency on the sequence of starting the
IBM HTTP Server (IHS w/ plugin) and WebSphere application
server (WAS). If starting IHS before starting WAS and doing a
request through IHS to a WAS resouce, an error 500 is returned
(as expected).
Subsequently starting WAS (and waiting the plugin RetryInterval
-
default 60 secs.) before re-requesting a WAS resource never
manages to get the request through to WAS.
.
Something is wrong with the logic to retry a server that has
been
marked down - a marked down server is NEVER retried.

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Downed clones are not retried after the retry interval has
expired if weights are assigned to the servers. The plugin
should ignore weights and try downed servers unconditionally
once the retry interval has expired.
Problem conclusion
Modified plugin to retry downed servers unconditionally once the
retry interval has expired.
