Error description
When trying to ripple start Appservers manually using a script
in a cluster env, one of the Appservers will NOT stop and the
other running Appserver webcontainer thread spikes. From the
javacore we see a deadlock detected in DRS code and all the
servlet engine threads are waiting on that monitor.
Threads involved:
com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.httpsession.DRSSessionData and
com.ibm.disthub.jms.SessionDispatcher.

****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: *
****************************************************************
Users of HTTP Session Manager who have configured the session
manager to use memory to memory replication of sessions for
failover may observe that the Application Server hangs during
shutdown. There are no Error or Exception messages that appear
in the logs or the traces, but the Application Server shutdown
script does not terminate.
Problem conclusion
The Application Server hang is attributable to a deadlock that
occurs between threads belonging to the Session Manager
component and the Data Replication component. This deadlock is
being addressed by this APAR, and will be available for the
5.0.2 release as part of Cumulative fix 4 (5.0.2.4).
