Abstract
In WebSphere® Application Server V5.0, rsh (remote shell) execution of certain scripts hangs.
 
Download Description
PQ76804 resolves the following problem:

When certain scripts are executed remotely using rsh, rsh can hang. This occurs when the script in question leaves a running process on the system when it exists. Examples of such scripts are addNode.sh and startServer.sh.
This fix is for Unix® specific platforms only.

The fix for PQ76804 is provided in WebSphere Application Server V5.0.2 Cumulative Fix 5 (V5.0.2.5)
