Virtual Host/WebGroup Not Found error when accessing the administrative console
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
When accessing the administrative console errors may appear in the Deployment Manager SystemOut.log.

Cause
The following errors may appear in the Deployment Manager SystemOut.log:

PLGN0021E: Servlet Request Processor Exception: Virtual Host/WebGroup Not Found : The web group/admin has not been defined

The following error might also be seen if the current Network Deployment configuration is trying to synchronize with a node because of a change:

PLGN0021E: Servlet Request Processor Exception: Virtual Host/WebGroup Not Found : The web group /FileTransfer/transfer/cells/plugin-cfg.xml65433.tmp has not been defined

This problem occurs in WebSphere® Application Server because of a duplication of ports in the VirtualHosts.xml file. This might happen when the tenth application server is created with the port 9090. This is the default HTTP transport port for the deployment manager process. If this port is added as an alias for another virtual host besides the admin_host, the console and file transfer applications fail to function properly.

Resolving the problem
Remove 9090 from the virtual host alias list for the host that is not admin_host and change the port for the tenth application server to an unused port. After a new port is configured, it can be added to a virtual host alias without conflict.
