Error description
WSAM requests information of PMI that PMI can not get, at the
time of the request, so PMI generates invalid messages. PMI
will mask the identified messages so that they only display
when a full trace is selected on PMI.
.
When Websphere Application Server is monitored using an
external monitoring applicaiton such as WSAM, in some cases it
will display superfluous messages PMI0002, PMI0016, PMI0018
and PMI0024. These warning messages are simply indicating some
information retrieval problems precipitated by the external
monitoring application.

****************************************************************
When Websphere Application Server is monitored using an
external monitoring applicaiton such as WSAM, in some cases it
will display superflous messages PMI0002, PMI0016, PMI0018
and PMI0024. These warning messages are simply indicating some
information retrival problems precipitated by the external
monitoring application. These external applications handle the
problems, so there is no real need to display these messages in
a normal runtime environment.
Problem conclusion
We've moved the messages under a conditional check for trace
enablement. Now, the module will need to be traced for these
warning messages to appear.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
in 5.02.11 and 5.1.1.5.
