the changes do not take effect when the resources are reloaded.
Local fix Problem summary
****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server developers *
* and users who utilize application resources. *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Changes to resources.xml are not *
* realized when reloading application *
* resources. *
* *
* When a server resource is modified *
* using the AdminClient, for example, the *
* change is registered in the *
* appropriate resources.xml file of the *
* server's configuration. These changes *
* are activated by invoking the reload *
* method on the appropriate MBean, for *
* instance. *
* *
* This fix is applicable when server *
* resources are configured, but when *
* the resources are forced to reload, *
* the changes do not take effect. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Symptoms are known to occur when reloading *
* resources via the MBean interfaces. For *
* instance, the MBean API allows applications *
* to reload, obtain properties and test *
* connections for data sources. *
* *
* Apply the fix to correctly reload *
* resources, and query the WebSphere *
* Application Server InfoCenter *
* using keywords "resource reload MBean" to *
* learn more about resource configuration *
* and reloading. *
