![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Problem Description : Sometimes, when the customer tried to create new datasource with existing JDBC Provider, default datasource helper class field was empty. After that, if using same JDBC provider, same issue continue to occur. Findings : The problem was caused by incorrect value in xa= field of template file. When the implementation class is xa driver, then xa= value is false, WSAS can't find suitable template for datasource. But the customer did not change template by hand. RootCause: --------- The root cause of the problem is that the xa setting for the JDBC Provider (read from the jdbc-resource-provider-templates.xm l file) was not always used when populating the form and therefore when the form was saved, the xa setting was not. I corrected this problem in the class and method indicated above.Local fix No WorkAround.Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: user creating new datasource with existing * * jdbc providers * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Empty datasource helper class when * * creating new datasource * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Sometimes when creating a new datasource with an existing JDBC Provider, the default datasource helper class field is empty.
