Abstract |
On 01 January 2006, 18:59 PM EST, Entrust Chain
Certificates expire. If your security is enabled using these expired
certificates, your servers will not initialize and your running servers
will stop operating. |

When the certificates expire, the following error message
is logged in the HTTP error.log file:
[Sun Jan 01 18:59:02 2006] [error]
SSL0221E: SSL Handshake Failed, Invalid date. |
To verify that the Entrust Chain Certificate has expired, perform the
following:
- Open your current KDB file.
- Select the Signer Certificates tab.
- Double-click the Entrust Chain Certificate. If the Certificate has
expired, you should receive a message indicating that the Certificate has
expired.
Solution
If you have verified that the Entrust Chain Certificate has expired using
the preceding steps, then visit the Entrust Web site to obtain new certificates.
Note: IBM® does not provide this certificate in the base level of
the GSKit. |
