Error description Porting PQ74005 to 5.0.2 and above because was lost. this addresses the issue where wsadmin does not create the listener port.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server V5.0.2 users * * who use wsadmin to create ListenerPorts. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After creating a ListenerPort using * * wsadmin, the listener port created * * cannot be viewed through the admin * * console, and the server that contains * * the listener port cannot be started. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When a listener port is created using wsadmin, its initial state property is missing. This causes problemes when viewing the listener port object as well as starting the server containing the listener port.Problem conclusion Added a template for ListenerPort configuration object, which provides a default initial state, "START". This will be used by wsadmin when creating listener port to set the initial state.Temporary fix PQ79991 fix is now available on PQ99999 site.Comments
