![]() APAR status Closed as fixed if next. Error description proxy http mishandles encoding of request body when client sends chunked encoding or a filter modifies the content lengthLocal fix Problem summary For the case where client sent chunked data, mod_proxy_http has been changed to use the same (chunked) encoding when forwarding the data to the origin server. Previously, no encoding (C-L or chunked) was used. For the case where client send C-L but an input filter modified the data, the data will be spooled by mod_proxy_http until complete, then it will be sent to the origin server with C-L. Previously, an incorrect C-L would be sent to the origin server.Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments This APAR is being closed as Fixed IF Next. There is a deficiency that we currently plan to fix if there is another release. (At present, it is expected that this fix will be available for IHS 2.0.42.x and IHS 2.0.47.x via cumulative i-fix PK01070 during Q1 '05.)
