PK07880 resolves the following problem:
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
A CPU spike has been seen at the same time that the Dynamic Cache disk
cleanup is running.
PROBLEM SUMMARY:
USERS AFFECTED:
WebSphere Application Server users using the Dynamic Cache disk offload
feature.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A CPU spike is seen when running Dynamic Cache disk cleanup.
RECOMMENDATION:
This will improve the performance of cache requests by removing
unnecessary cache synchronization during Dynamic Cache disk cleanup
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
This fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack
V5.0.2.8 to V5.0.2.13.
