Problem(Abstract)
ConnectionIOTimeout value not honored for HTTPS requests if client does not initiate the SSLHandshake.
 
Cause
The ConnectionIOTimeout value is not honored for HTTPS requests if the client does not initiate an SSLHandshake. This request will always timeout after 120 seconds.
 
Resolving the problem
This issue will not occur in IBM® WebSphere® Application Server V6.0 and above, which uses the Java™ Secure Socket Extension (JSSE) v2.
