Unable to get instrumentation level from WebSphere Application Server 4.0 using WebSphere Application Server 5.0 PMI client API.

Error while calling PmiClient.getInstrumentationLevel on WebSphere Application Server V4.0 using WebSphere Application Server 5.0 PMI client API.

USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server 5.0 PMI client API users.

The error was due to missing serialVersionUID in the WebSphere Application Server 4.0 class and the class was subsequently modified in v 5.0. The problem is fixed by adding the WebSphere Application Server 4.0 serialVersionUID in WebSphere Application Server 5.0 class.
The class is com.ibm.ws.pmi.server.PerfLevelDescriptor
