Cycles within a business process
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
Can you have cycles in a business process? For example, can you link the output terminal of an activity to the input terminal of an activity, which is a prior activity in the business process?

Resolving the problem
You cannot direct the business process so that the output terminal of an activity is linked to the input terminal of a prior activity. However, a Loop activity can be used to provide looping behavior in the business process. Place both activities in a Loop activity and use Control Links to define the order of execution. Iteration in the loop is controlled by a conditional expression, and the loop will continue to execute as long as this conditional expression evaluates to true.
