Correction to installation instructions for Caching Proxy on HP-UX and Solaris systems
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
Some of the installation instructions for HP-UX and Solaris in "Concepts, Planning, and Installation" documentation for Edge Components are incorrect.

Resolving the problem

PROBLEM 1
The correct syntax for INSTALL on HP-UX is:

swinstall -s source/ package_name

where source is the absolute directory path for the location of the package, and package_name is the name of the package.

Note: There is a space before package_name

PROBLEM 2
The correct syntax for UNINSTALL on HP-UX is:

swremove package_name

To query the installed Caching Proxy packages, use the command:

swlist | grep WSES

Packages must be removed in the reverse order they were installed.

Note: WSES must be all upper-case.

PROBLEM 3
The correct syntax for UNINSTALL on Solaris is:

pkgrm package_name

To query the installed Caching Proxy packages, use the command:

pkginfo | grep WSES

Packages must be removed in the reverse order they were installed.

Note: WSES must be all upper-case.
