![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Intermittent errors (500) returned to the browser (client) on valid requests to the IBM HTTP Server. Performance tests from slow clients encounter this situation more often than fast clientsLocal fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All WebSphere Application Server users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The plugin marks an appserver as down * * when the client takes longer than the * * IOTimeout to send POST content. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The plugin is mistakenly marking an appserver down when the client takes longer than the IOTimeout to send the POST content. Flushing the output buffer once the headers have been sent to the appserver will disengage the IOTimeout so the appserver does not close the connection.Problem conclusion Flushed the output buffer after the request headers are written to the appserver to ensure that the headers are sent to the appserver immediately to disengage the IOTimeout.Temporary fix PQ72428_Test.jarComments
