Removing or renaming any files under install-root/lib
 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)
Removing the files under install-root/lib and the install-root/java is not supported.

Resolving the problem
It is very important not to remove, modify, or rename any jar files under the install-root/lib and install-root/java folders. It is not supported and will cause many other unexpected results.

If you want to override the WebSphere jar file with a new version of a jar file or customized jar files, then place those jar files under the root of the ear file or create a shared library and then change the classloader mode to PARENT_LAST. Refer to Best Practice for Using Common Application Files for more information about placing the utility jar file and changing the classloader settings.
