![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Correct packaging for PQ72596. The APAR's unique identifier is labeled PQ72596_Fix instead of PQ72596. This prevents prerequisite fixes from being installed.Local fix Disable prerequisite check if PQ72596 was a prerequisite fix.Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users that * * modify the generated plugin file * * plugin-cfg.xml. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere fails to persist key fields * * that can be modified or added manually * * after plugin regeneration. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** WebSphere's plugin currently permits properties that are currently unable to be set via the admin console or other administrative tools. The current workaround is to manually modify the generated plugin-cfg.xml for that server. When plugin regeneration is called, these values are not being retained.Problem conclusion Modified the plugin regeneration code to persist key fields similar to the current behavior in WebSphere 4.0.Temporary fix Comments
