APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Process Choreographer audit trail does not record meaningful information for complex variable typesin WAS.workflowin 5.0.2.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the Process Choreographer audit * * trail functionality wishing to store * * 'deep' info of complex types in the audit * * trail. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PROCESS CHOREOGRAPHER AUDIT TRAIL * * DOES NOT RECORD MEANINGFUL * * INFORMATION FOR COMPLEX VARIABLE TYPES * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Our (audit and CEI) log implementation creates events whenever a variable has been changed. We use the toString() method on each part of the (WSIF-) message to write the contents of the variable to the log. This works fine if the associated message type has only simple parts. However, for complex parts, we get just an object reference printed which is not what the customer wants to see.Problem conclusion We have coded methods to give a deep string representation for the complex parts.Temporary fix Comments
