Download Description
After enabling WebSphere Application Server security using a custom registry and then using a fully distinguished name (DN) as the security server ID, trying to log into the administrative application/console hangs. This succeeds if a security server ID, which is not the full DN, is used.

This fix will resolve this problem so that a full DN can be used to log into the administrative console. This fix is expected to be included in the first WebSphere Application Server V5.0 fix pack or cumulative fix.
