* services. *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Various issues with the popup login *
* dialog. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: *
****************************************************************
1) Login dialog may be initiated by a server process when the
server is acting as a Web Services client.
2) If authentication fails, the password field of the login
dialog is not cleared.
3) Pressing "OK" on a blank login dialog causes the dialog to
hang.
There are no error messages associated with these conditions.
Problem conclusion
1) A warning is now displayed about the configuration of GUI
or stdin login prompts for Web Services clients running on
servers. The login dialogs are no longer displayed.
2) The password field is cleared on failed authentications.
3) A new window is displayed instead of reusing the original
one which initializes the window correctly so it does not
hang.
