This article extends article 6.6.4 (the overview of administering enterprise bean containers) with information specific to the Java console.

Does the console provide full functionality for administering this resource? Yes
How is this resource represented in the console tree views? The Type tree contains a Containers folder object.

The Topology tree can contain zero or more existing containers. Their names vary; they are supplied by the administrator.

Use the View menu on the console menu bar to toggle between tree views.

Any task wizards for manipulating this resource? Not directly, though a container can be configured as part of the tasks (on the console menu bar):

Console -> Task -> Create application server
