Use the Save OLT File As dialog box to save the current trace to a file. The Save As action does not simply take a snapshot of the current screen. It saves all event recorded in current session (both before and after the Save As action). Once you specify a filename, you cannot change that name until the next session. Similarly, once you have completed the original save, as described above, there is no need to save again.
Important: The file is saved to the machine where the OLT Server is running. This may be a different machine than the machine running the OLT Viewer.
The trace file can be stored as XML or the Object Level Trace EDB format (default). Select the file format from the File Filter pulldown.
If you do not specify the full path for the file, the file is saved in the default directory defined on the File > Preferences > OLT settings page. By default, the Read/Save file directory is the one defined by %DER_DRIVER_PATH%\temp on Windows NT, or /tmp on AIX.
