You can silently install WebSphere Application Server to a local machine. To do the silent installation:
setup path\setup.iss -s
Do not use the -f1
option.
Language | To overide the language specifed by the system locale, set Language= to
any of the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese,
Portuguese, Korean, Chinese, or Taiwanese. Leave the parameter blank for auto-detect.
The default is Language= |
Installation log file | Under [LogFilePath], specify the directory where the installation log file
resides (szDir=) and the installation log file name (szLogFileName=).
Leave the parameter entries blank to get the defaults,
target_directory\logs and wssetup.log. If the installation program
does not create the target directory, look for the log file in the Windows directory.
The default values you specify are

WebSphere Application Server directory | Under [SelectTargetDir], specify the main directory for WebSphere Application
Server (szDir=). The defaults are

Samples installation | Under [Samples], set Result= to 0 if you do not want
samples installed. Keep the default of Result=1 to have the installation program
install the samples. |
Security | Under [Security], specify a valid user ID (szUser=) and a valid
password (szPassword=). Optionally, specify an administrative console host
(szHostName=). If you are using key ring files, set UseDemoKeyRing= to
1 and specify client and server key ring files and passwords. If you do not
need to specify your own key ring files, keep the defaults shown below and use
the demo key ring files and passwords provided with the product.

Note that enabling SSL on a non-secure Web server prevents the plugin from working.
