6.6.16.1: Administering virtual hosts with the Java administrative console

This article extends article 6.6.16 (the overview of administering virtual hosts) with information specific to the Java console.

Does the console provide full functionality for administering this resource? Yes
How is this resource represented in the console tree views? The Type tree contains a Virtual Hosts folder object.

The Topology tree can contain one or more existing virtual hosts (there is always a default virtual host). Their names vary; they are supplied by the administrator.

Use the View menu on the console menu bar to toggle between tree views.

Any task wizards for manipulating this resource? On the console menu bar:

Console -> Task -> Create a virtual host
