6.6.0.4: Overview of editing property files by hand

Few resources can be edited through product property files (such as admin.config) and the dynamic caching feature of the servlet engine.

The following articles describe methods in which you edit a property file that was shipped with the product, and is known by some component of the product. A prime example of such a property file is the administrative server configuration file. Without additional actions by you, your changes to the property file are read and used by the component.
