Error description
WebSphere plugin handles character strings wrong when they conta
in character values in the range 0x80-0xff.  Those characters
should be converted into UTF format for the JAVA environment.
Local fix
Problem summary
scii characters when the HttpServletRequest.getRemoteUser() meth
od is executed and WebServer security is used.
Problem conclusion
Ascii characters to Unicode in the plugin code before returning
it to the servlet engine.
