Problem
What port do I use when configuring the data source for my database?
Cause
Each database uses a socket connection to connect from the client to the database server. The TCP/IP port number for this connection is useful information for debugging socket connection problems.
Solution
Here are the default TCP/IP® port numbers for the databases supported by WebSphere® Application Server.
