| Problem | The VAJava EJB development environment can be used to create CMP beans | | | | Solution | The VAJava EJB development environment can be used to create Container Managed Persistence (CMP) beans. Within VAJava, there is an option to export an enterprise bean (EJB) to a .jar file for Component Broker. The .jar file can then be used by the CBEJB tool. There is also a tool in VAJava called Persistence Builder (PB) that will help map bean attributes to the columns in a database table. The PB tool maps the schema from the database to the EJB group. | |
