Support of SQL Server 2000 Uniqueidentifier data type with SequeLink JDBC Driver

Problem
Incorrect output when using Uniqueidentifier with SequeLink JDBC™ Driver 5.1 or 5.2, datatype gets converted incorrectly.
Cause
Attempting to use SequeLink JDBC driver version 5.1 with Uniqueidentifier data type in WebSphere® Application Server, datatype is not supported in this version..
Solution
SequeLink Server 5.3 is the first version of SequeLink Server that supports the Uniqueidentifier data type. Install SequeLink Server version 5.3 and the SequeLink® JDBC Driver 5.3 to resolve problems with this data type.

The SequeLink 5.3 Server and SequeLink 5.3 JDBC Driver can be obtained (for use within WebSphere Application Server) from the IBM® WebSphere Application Server support site at:

    The data type mapping of JDBC for Uniqueidentifier data type is BINARY.
