| Problem | In cases where viruses attack a Web server, the WebSphereŽ Application Server's plug-in log may fill up with warnings. | | Cause | Excessive error writing to plug-in log due to virus | | Solution | If network errors, such as those caused by a virus, cause a very unstable environment and can cause excessive WebSphere Application Server plug-in error logging to occur and can cause large error logs to accumulate. To help relieve the large log file issue, modify the log level writing by editing the following line of the bootstrap.properties file in the WebSphere Application Server properties directory, such as /usr/WebSphere/AppServer/properties/bootstrap.properties.default line: ose.plugin.log.level=ERROR | WARNINGmodified line: ose.plugin.log.level= | |
