PQ55573: CACHEID IS NOT GETTING INCREMENTED WHEN NETWORK DISPATCHER IS USED.

APAR

APAR status
Closed as documentation error.

Error description
Customer is using Network Dispatcher in front of 2 application s
ervers (not clones). When the customer does a double click in t
he browser, the cacheID is not being incremented. This causes b
oth appservers to have the same cacheID, and the latest session
object will not be retrieved from the database.
Local fix
If the customer uses session affinity with clones they will not
see this behavior.

In a clustered environment if session affinty is absent
requests will get sent to multiple appservers leading to
problems such as the session object being accessed
concurrently in multiple appServers and the session object
not being current in the JVM.

The release notes have been updated to say that session
affinity is a prerequiste for the session manager to behave
correctly in a clustered environment.
