It appears that this is a relatively common problem, per
www.hursley.ibm.com/newsgroups/ncc/nccnews?ibmpub.java.aix,
when exporting a display from AIX to Linux and is resolved by
upgrading the JDK. The JDK that comes with 3.5.5 on AIX is
Java 2 SDK - IBM 1.2.2 SR 13a , and the UnsatisfiedLinkError:
Index8GrayToRGB565 problem is resolved with JDKs 1.2.2 SR 14,
and 1.3.0 SR10. Please ask the customer to upgrade their JDK
1.2.2 SR 14 to see if this resolves their problem.
