| Problem | You are unable to add a stand-alone URI (for example: A URI that you add directly to a virtual host, and is not part of a web application) to an Enterprise Application in versions 3.5, 3.5.1, 3.5.2 or 3.5.3 of WebSphereŽ Application Server. | | | | Solution | You are wanting to add a stand-alone URI to your Enterprise Application. You navigate within the administrative console menu to Console >Tasks > Edit Enterprise Application. However, the Add button, within the dialog to add resources, is behaving incorrectly. The problem is that the button stays depressed on a single click, and continues to stay depressed until the cursor moves off of the button. Viewing the Enterprise Application after finishing this task shows that the adding of your URI was unsuccessful. This is a known defect (APAR PQ44559), currently available in fix pack 4 (3.5.4). To resolve this problem, apply fix pack 4 to WebSphere Application Server V3.5. If you have the administrative console running on a separate machine from the server, make sure you apply fix pack 4 to the separate machine. | |
