Creating Container Managed Beans with VAJava in WebSphere

Technote (FAQ)
Problem
The VAJava EJB development environment can be used to create CMP beans
Solution
The VAJava EJB development environment can be used to create Container Managed Persistence (CMP) beans. Within VAJava, there is an option to export an enterprise bean (EJB) to a .jar file for Component Broker. The .jar file can then be used by the CBEJB tool.

There is also a tool in VAJava called Persistence Builder (PB) that will help map bean attributes to the columns in a database table. The PB tool maps the schema from the database to the EJB group.
