Error description
Efix PQ54845 did not resolve customer problem. Efix was to
address persistent connectons failing because content length not
lower cased. Efix was installed and initially worked. Further
testing showed additonal problems. The following problem was
noted:
The webapp sends five cookies to the browser. But only TWO
cookies
 actually reach the browser: the "sesessionid" cookie from
the WAS
 session manager, and ONE of the five cookies that were
sent by the
 webapp.
The traces confirm that the application (i.e. my test servlet)
       created the two cookies (cookie1name=cookie1value and
       cookie2name=cookie2value), but only the
cookie2name=cookie2value
       reached the browser when I used the PQ54845 level of
libns40.so.
.
       In our actual production webapp, the webapp sets FIVE
cookies, but
       only the fifth (last) one makes it back to the browser.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In order for persistent sessions to *
* work, Iplanet requires that the header *
*                      field content-length in lowercased.     *
*                      PQ54845 resolved this problem but       *
* because it lowercased all of the *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************PQ54845 lowercased all response headers when the only header
that needed to be lowercased was content-length.
Problem conclusion
Modified Iplanet plugin so that only the content-length
response header was lowercased.
