Together with Dennis R we (Ranier D.) discovered a performance
problem with the SSOAuthenticator running websphere portal
on WAS. The specific details of the analysis are outlined in
notes between Rainer and Dennis. Local fix

A significant amount of time of SSOAuthenticator.login()
execution is spent in getSecurityServer(). The result from
getSecurityServer() method has not been used since v3.0 and is
no longer necessary. Problem conclusion
