| Problem | How do I find the maintenance level of my AIX® operating system? | | | | Solution | You can determine the AIX level by issuing the instfix -i AIX command to query the system for a list of fixes installed on the system. To reduce the amount of output you see, pipe the output to grep to display only the results that include the string, AIX_ML. This displays a list of AIX maintenance levels that have been applied to your system. Aix command: instfix -i | grep AIX_MLExample output: # instfix -i | grep AIX_ML All filesets for 4.3.1.0_AIX_ML were found. All filesets for 4.3.2.0_AIX_ML were found.
