New Updates and Changes IBM® WebSphere® Business Integration (WBI) Workbench™ v4.2.3 Fix Pack 1

New Updates:

  1. The mapping between two different data structures is no longer allowed.
  2. Two additional columns - "Administrative Control Of Specific Process Functions" and "Administrative Control Of All Process Functions (Yes/No)" have been added to the Import Employee Template.
  3. The Version combo box in the System and User Program Execution Server dialog boxes has been changed to include Version 3.4 menu item. This added version is also supported now for the imported FDL file.
  4. The Business Object's list in the Import Structures from System Manager dialog box is now sorted alphabetically.
  5. The MQ Workflow validation report includes now a warning for any task that has no assigned application.
  6. New shortcuts have been added to the Process Validation sub menu of the Process menu for the different types of process validation.
  7. The connector information for the Default and Loop connectors in the exported FDL file includes now the X and Y offsets to represent the graphical representation of the connector in the process diagram.
  8. The SM Process diagram can include now Phi objects. The Properties dialog box of the added Phi objects in the SM Process will not display the Data Flow tab. The System Manager Validation also has been changed to allow the existence of Phi objects in the SM processes.
  9. The opened organization file name and path is displayed now on the Title Bar.
  10. In the User Forms dialog box, the user forms can be defined now using a custom file name by typing the name and path of the form file (.xfd).
  11. When exporting a process in an FDL file, if the selected version for the FDL file is older than the selected MQ Workflow version for any defined System and/or User Program Execution Server (UPES), an incompatibility message will appear, and the Export button in the IBM MQ Workflow window will be disabled.
  12. A warning message box appears now when the simulation is started if the user selected the Jobs During Working Hours Only check box (in the General tab of the Simulation Setup dialog box), and then defined a variable Job Creation Rate (in the Generator tab of the Simulation Setup dialog box) to inform the user that the simulation may loop if some of the defined rates are outside the working hours.
  13. The Go To object is now exported and imported to/from the Workbench XML files.

Fixed Bugs:

  1. JR18459 - The default settings of the WBI Collaboration Applications that are exported in an FDL file have been changed to allow input and output container access.

  2. JR18460 - The misleading error message that was produced when entering a decimal percentage in a binary decision has been corrected to accept the decimal percentage, and eliminate the message apperance.

  3. For the exported WBI Collaboration Application information in the FDL file, The exported verb name case is now preserved, and the collaboration parameters separator has been changed to semicolon instead of comma.
  4. Support for System Manager's Business Objects that have been created by the previous version.
  5. Fixed the duplication that occurred due to multiple imports of Business Objects from System Manager.
  6. The Import FDL function now skips the invalid expressions in the imported FDL files and continues importing its contents of processes.
  7. An extra MQ Workflow validation has been added to stop exporting the FDL file if  the activity's exit condition contains the "OTHERWISE" function.
  8. The data fields of the Cost and Var. bool data type are exported to WBI Toolset as double and bool Business Objects' attributes respectively.
  9. Fixed the problem that has previously preserved the state of the  Input Container check box in the General Tab of the Sub Process object dialog box even if the check box state was changed.
  10. The Process Tree dialog box's performance has been improved to reduce the time spent to apply the Decisions and Tasks filters.
  11. Fixed the bug that has caused detaching Employees from their org. units if these employees have been entered to the system by importing their data through an Import Employee template.
  12. The Task Object dialog box - General Tab has been enhanced to increase the space between the Apply and Cancel Buttons.
  13. The attributes values of the created NOOP Activity has been enhanced to include proper and valid values.
  14. In WBI Collaboration Task Object, the selected WBI Collaboration Application is not cleared any more when a different tab is selected.
  15. The exported expression syntax of the Binary decision's control connector has been corrected to include the missing "when .." phrase.

  16. The UPES and Queue Manager names are validated to ensure that they are upper case, and that their length is maximum of 8 characters. 

  17. The created job times in the Simulation report are corrected to show the different creation time if you set the time unit for the Time Between Jobs to any unit other than Minutes.

  18. The Description and Documentation contents of any object are now truncated when exporting processes in an FDL file. The Description text is truncated to 254 characters, while the Documentation text is truncated to 4096 characters

  19. Adjusted the import and export between data fields and System Managers' Business Objects to maintain the Business Objects' Cardinality.

  20. Export to SNS is prohibited for processes containing sub processes or external processes.

  21. The value of the Stop Time and Start Time fields in the Cleanup Server Settings and the Schedule Server Settings dialog boxes now accept values from 0 to 6 (Monday to Sunday respectively).

  22. The External Entity and External Process icons in the Search dialog box have been changed to be different from the Process object's icon.

  23. Clicking the Policy go to button in the Policy Tree dialog box does not pass the selected function name and number to the Policy dialog box any more.

  24. The value of the WLM field in the Activity Server Settings tab of the Domain, System Group or System dialog boxes is validated to ensure that it is in upper case, and that the length does not exceed 32 characters.

  25. The WLM field in the Message/Restart tab of the Domain, System Group or System dialog boxes has been changed to ARM, and its value is validated to ensure that it consists of a minimum of 1 character, and does not exceed 32 characters.

  26. The imported organization XML file is now validated to check if any of the existing processes in the imported XML file contains connectors that create a loop in the process. In this case an error message appears and the import will be aborted. The connectors that are creating the loop will be listed in a log file created in the target organization folder.

  27. Fixed the bug in the Process Summary Report - General Info tab that displayed  "# Value" in some of the value cells when the Role/Resource that has the alphabetically last name in the organization is not used in the Process.

  28. Fixed the bug that has caused hanging during exporting the XML file to WBI Monitor if any of the exported processes contains WBI Collaboration Tasks.

  29. Fixed the bug that has caused problems if the user defined a new System Group/ System or renamed an existing one with a 10 characters name length.
