Installing IBM® WebSphere® Business Integration (BI) Workbench™ v4.2.4 Fix Pack3

The contents of this file describe how to run the IBM WebSphere BI Workbench 4.2.4 Fix Pack3 Installation Wizard.

The BI Workbench 4.2.4 Fix Pack3 Setup Wizard starts by running the executable file named IBM WBI Workbench-V424 Fix Pack 3.exe from the location where you have extracted the contents of the zip file that you downloaded from the Internet.

The BI Workbench 4.2.4 Fix Pack3 Setup Wizard requires a previous installation of the full version of the BI Workbench v4.2.4 that has not been uninstalled. Otherwise, the installation of this Fix Pack will not be performed successfully.

The BI Workbench 4.2.4 Fix Pack3 Setup Wizard automatically installs the required files on the same location where the full version of the BI Workbench v4.2.4 is installed. It is not required to specify a new installation directory for the Fix Pack, or to specify the original installation directory for the full version of the BI Workbench 4.2.4.

Important note: Make sure to close the IBM WBI Toolset - System Manager before installing BI Workbench 4.2.4 Fix Pack3, and before starting BI Workbench for the first time, after the BI Workbench 4.2.4 Fix Pack3 has been installed.
