Installation Instructions
Before installing this Fix Pack, backup all affected business objects and
maps. It is also necessary to remove several items from your current
configuration before installing the Fix Pack. Please follow the instructions below to
remove these items and then proceed to the detailed instructions for ‘Installing and configuring the Fix Pack’:
- If
necessary, restart the target ICS server in design mode. (The ICS
server must be running in design mode in order to delete the maps)
- Stop
and delete all the maps running in the target ICS server
- Stop
and delete all the collaboration objects in the target ICS server
- Stop
all the connectors in the target ICS server
- Follow
the detailed instructions in the ‘Installing and configuring the Fix Pack’ guide included
with this fixpack.
Uninstall Instructions
To uninstall this Fix Pack, follow these steps:
- Issue
a repos_copy –d to the target ICS server.
- Restart
the server
- If
desired, delete the ICL from the System Manager containing the fix pack
components.
- Deploy
the backup System Manager ICL containing the previous, full version of the
Item Synchronization product to the target ICS server
