Fix (APAR): JR25844 Status: Fix Release: 6.0.2 Operating System: AIX,HP-UX,Linux,Solaris,Windows,z/OS Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: 407186 Byte size of APAR: 35658 Date: 2007-02-22 Abstract: Customer can't execute after migration Description/symptom of problem: JR25844 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: Customer can't execute after migration LOCAL FIX: None. PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Process Server 6.0.2.x users migrating from WebSphere InterChange Server PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customer can't execute after migration RECOMMENDATION: None Potential infinite loops generated in migrated BPEL. When we "unravel" a loop in the ICS CWT, the case where there is an EndSuccess within the loop is not correctly handled. As a result, a While loop is generated in the BPEL that can result in an infinite loop which causes the timeout issue. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: This problem was fixed in the first private, but it introduced the "parallel link-to-link" issue. This issue is fixed by changing the equals() method on the Link.java class so that links with the same source and target are considered "equal" if their conditions are both null. Directions to apply fix: Before applying the iFix ensure that WebSphere Process Server 6.0.1 is installed on the system. Also download and follow Update Installer installation instructions.
