Installation Instructions

JR19971

Before installing this Fix Pack, backup all affected collaborations. Please see the installation instructions in the IBM WebSphere Business Integration Collaborations for Product Information Management Version 1.0.2.

  1. Install BIA_CT_PIM_Patch1.jar using the same procedure used to install the original BIA_CT_PIM.jar. Note that installing the BIA_CT_PIM_Patch1.jar overwrites all same named collaboration templates in your System Manager’s Integration Component Libraries.
  2. No changes were made to the collaboration properties or their bindings. Therefore you are not required to rebuild the collaboration objects.
  3. Stop all running collaboration groups within the IBM WebSphere Interchange Server
  4. If you are installing into a running system, deploy all changed templates with compile.
  5. Deploy (if any) re-created collaboration objects.
  6. The collaborations should automatically start once the deploy completes.

Uninstall Instructions

To uninstall this Fix Pack, follow these steps:

  1. If you have deployed any of the three collaboration templates to the IBM WebSphere Interchange Server repository, stop any of the running collaboration groups, using the System Manager toolset.
  2. Delete any and all of these three collaboration templates from the Interchange Server repository using the System Manager.
  3. Within the System Manager, the Integration Component Libraries, under Collaboration Templates, select one of three collaborations by right mouse clicking on it and click on ‘delete’, to delete it from the System Manager.
  4. Repeat step 3 until all three of the collaboration templates have been deleted from the System Manager.
  5. Restore the backed up versions of these collaboration templates into the System Manager and recompile them.
  6. Deploy any of the restored collaboration templates, with compile, back out to the Interchange Server repository, as needed in your production system.
