Configure the following for the patch to work:
Install the JDE software update released as IBM_EVT9.exe file for OneWorld 9.0.
For version 8.0 use the IBM_EVENT.exe present in version 2.0.0 of adapter. For instructions
on how to install software update or ESU/ASU in JDE please refer to JDE
Software Update Installation Guide. For the manual process on how to create the
constructs and components needed for the IBM Event Store implementation the two
documents in the fixpack IBM_Event_package and Packaging_and_deployment have
detailed instructions with screen captures.
The GenJava generates .jar files containing business function java wrappers.
These are used by adapter to invoke business functions. Copy these .jar files
into the %CROSSWORLDS%\connectors\OneWorld\repository folder. The adapter and
ODA dynamically upload these files.
To prepare the Java wrapper for business functions used by the event
notification component, run GenJava using the above BIA_IBMEvents.cmd. Copy the
generated .jar file to the %CROSSWORLDS%\connectors\OneWorld\dependencies
folder.
OneWorld 8.0/EnterpriseOne 8.0
Copy Kernel.jar and Connector.jar, present in the B7334\System\classes
folder to the %CROSSWORLDS%\connectors\OneWorld\dependencies folder.
Copy the jdeinterop.ini file from the B7334\Interoperability\Examples\Java
folder to the %CROSSWORLDS%\connectors\OneWorld\dependencies. For more
information on editing the jdeinterop.ini file, refer to the OneWorld
Interoperability Guide.
OneWorld 9.0 / EnterpriseOne 8.9{2, 3, 4} tools
Copy Kernel.jar, Connector.jar, Log4j.jar, Jdeutil.jar, Database.jar present in
the B9\System\classes folder to the ProductDir\connectors\OneWorld\dependencies
folder.
Copy the sample jdelog.properties from the B9\System\classes\Samples to
%CROSSWORLDS%\connectors\OneWorld\dependencies folder.
Copy jdeinterop.ini.templ file from the B9\System\classes\Samples folder as
jdeinterop.ini file in the %CROSSWORLDS%\connectors\OneWorld\dependencies
folder.
Edit the jdelog.properties and jdeinterop.ini files. For information on editing
sections of the filter, refer to the OneWorld Interoperability Guide.
