General Description -------------------------------------- IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager (ITCAM) for SOA version 6.1 Interim Fix 0003 fixes a problem that occurs when ITCAM for SOA is installed in the IBM Tivoli Monitoring V6.2 Fixpack 1 environment, and you access the Services Overview table view. ==================================================================== Section 2. Prerequisites -------------------------------------- 1. IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for SOA V6.1 ==================================================================== Section 4. Installation Instructions ------------------------------------ Use the following steps to install the update: 1) Stop Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server. 2) Rename the /Products/KD4/tcore directory to /Products/KD4/tcore-backup where is one of these values, depending on your operating system: For Windows: c:\IBM\ITM\CNPS For Linux or AIX: /opt/IBM/ITM//cq 3) Create a new /tcore directory under the /Products/KD4 directory. 4) Download and uncompress the 6.1.0-TIV-ITCAMSOA-MULTI-IF0003.zip interim fix into the new /Products/KD4/tcore directory. 5) Copy the following files from the /tcore-backup directory: a) Copy /Products/KD4/tcore-backup/bin/setenv.bat to /Products/KD4/tcore/bin b) Copy /Products/KD4/tcore-backup/bin/setenv.sh to /Products/KD4/tcore/bin c) Copy /Products/KD4/tcore-backup/etc/collation.properties to /Products/KD4/tcore/etc d) Copy /Products/KD4/tcore-backup/etc/bulkload.properties to /Products/KD4/tcore/etc e) Copy the contents of the /Products/KD4/tcore-backup/bulk directory to /Products/KD4/tcore/bulk 6) Edit /kd4ewas.properties file and change all instances of 06100000 to 06100001. There are 5 instances of this string in the file. 7) Reconfigure Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server. The reconfigure step will take several minutes to complete. 8) Start Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server. 9) Verify that you can successfully display the data in the Services Overview table view in the Services Management workspace. 10) After you verify that the fix is working, you can delete the /Products/KD4/tcore-backup directory.
