This document contains information about the
fixes addressed by IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Enterprise Single Sign-on Provisioning
Adapter (TAM E-SSO: Provisioning Adapter) 6.00 Rollup D Fix Pack 3, as well as a list
of known issues, if applicable. It also provides instructions for installing
and uninstalling this fix pack.

- s3983:
An administrator could
not access users in the LDAP IDS repository, receiving a “Can’t connect to
directory” error message after pressing the Find Users button on the
TAM E-SSO: Provisioning Adapter Web Console.
Cumulative from Fix Pack 2
- s4078:
With TAM E-SSO connected to an ADAM database, the Find User function was
unacceptably slow when the Exact Match mode for User Name was specified and
no application names were specified as part of the search.
- s4349: When a user deleted a
credential through the Provisioning Adapter Console Web site, it took up to
two times longer for the console screen to refresh after the process was
started than it did for the previous Find User operation (Find User with
Exact Match specified for user name and without any application names
specified).

- s3497:
An error occurred when an administrator attempted to modify credentials for WebSphere
or FMS2 through ITIM. The administrator received an error stating that v-GO PM expected
to receive one parameter and received five instead.
- s3525: When you ran the TAM E-SSO: Provisioning Adapter Console on an operating system that used any
local (regional) date format that is different than the USA date format, and
you used an Oracle database for event logging, a search for events generated an error
(ORA-01830 or ORA-01843).
- s3684:
When you used the TAM E-SSO: Provisioning Adapter
Java CLI in single instruction mode, if an argument to the utility has a
space in it, the utility failed, even if the argument is enclosed in quotes.
- s3862:
An error occurred when v-GO SSO was configured to use the AES 256-bit
encryption method.
- s3884, s4041, s4078: TAM E-SSO: Provisioning
Adapter timed out when searching
for users. The request failed with the error, Server Error in '/V-GO
Service' application.
To help ensure a satisfactory installation of
this fix pack:
- Ensure that TAM E-SSO: Provisioning
Adapter 6.00 Rollup D is
installed.
- Read these release notes entirely.
- Back up all data.
IBM strongly recommends that you back up data prior to the
installation of any software.
- Close all IBM software.
To install this fix pack using the installation
wizard:
- Double-click the E-SSO_PA_Server_6D_FixPack03.msp
and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Double-click the
E-SSO_PA_Client_CLI_6D_FixPack03.msp and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Double-click the
E-SSO_PA_Client_6D_FixPack03.msp and follow the on-screen instructions.
To install this fix pack manually:
- Extract the contents of the zip file.
- Copy the extracted "Program Files" folder to the root
directory for the C: drive. This locates all the extracted files in the appropriate
subfolders of the C:\Program Files folder. If you have installed
TAM E-SSO in a location other than
C:\Program
Files\Passlogix, copy the extracted "Program Files" folder
to that location.
Note: The contents of the fix pack zip
file are invisible to Windows.
You cannot uninstall this fix pack. If for any
reason you must uninstall the fix pack, you must uninstall the TAM E-SSO:
Provisioning Adapter product
and reinstall. Please see the TAM E-SSO: Provisioning Adapter Installation and Setup Guide for
more information on uninstalling TAM E-SSO: Provisioning Adapter.
