Situation Description

This situation is triggered when the number of Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agents that are connected to the primary Multi-site Workload Lifeline Advisor is zero.

Suggested Actions

Determine why a Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agent is not connected to the primary Multi-site Workload Lifeline Advisor.

  • Determine whether the Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agents have been stopped on all system images across the sites. Determine and correct any errors that may have caused the Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agents to have been stopped. Restart the Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agents, if necessary. If the Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agents have not all been stopped, the Multi-site Lifeline Agents will attempt to reconnect to the Multi-site Workload Advisor. If the situation is temporary, the Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agents will successfully reconnect.
  • Determine whether the sites where the Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agents were started are still available. If not, the system images within both sites need to be restarted and the Multi-site Workload Lifeline Agent started on each system image.
