Introduction ==================================================================================== This readme document provides information about the version 5.2.9 patch release for the following IBM(R) Maximo(R) Asset Management industry solutions: - IBM Maximo Asset Management for Calibration - IBM Maximo Asset Management for Nuclear Power - IBM Maximo Asset Management for Transportation This readme document describes the contents of patch 5.2.9 and provides installation instructions. Patch 5.2.9 is a cumulative patch that includes all the industry solutions general patches to date. If you install Maximo Asset Management patch 5.2.9, and the patch is applied to a system where a Maximo industry solution is installed, you must update your industry solution with patch 5.2.9. ==================================================================================== 2. Contents ==================================================================================== The following files are included in this patch: - jsp\common\assetcatalog\assetmain.jsp - jsp\common\reports\mroindex.jsp - jsp\common\reports\runreport.jsp - jsp\javascript\menus.js - META-INF\taglib.tld - psdi\is\jsptags\ISTextInputTag.class - resources\defaults\jspsettings.txt The files are included in the .zip file with their file paths relative to the folder. ==================================================================================== 3. Installation instructions ==================================================================================== 1) Stop your Maximo server. 2) Back up your following original files: - actuate\MRO\Functions.js - jsp\common\assetcatalog\assetmain.jsp - jsp\common\reports\mroindex.jsp - jsp\common\reports\runreport.jsp - jsp\javascript\menus.js - META-INF\taglib.tld - psdi\is\jsptags\ISTextInputTag.class - resources\defaults\jspsettings.txt 3) Download and extract the .zip patch file to a temporary folder. 4) Install patch 5.2.9 as described in the Maximo 5.2 Patch 09 Release Notes. 5) If necessary, apply any customizations to the files that the 'Contents' section contains. If you customized these files in your original Maximo environment, merge the same customizations into the files before you copy them to your folder. 6) Copy the new files into your folder. 7) Rebuild the maximo.ear and actuate.ear files. 8) Restart the Maximo server. ===================================================================================== 4.
