Ce guide porte sur les principaux concepts suivants :
- CCI permet aux employés d'un organisme d'exécuter les fonctions qu'implique le processus de saisie d'une manière cohérente et exploitable.
- CCI utilise l'approche Bonne porte qui fournit aux clients un accès universel aux services communautaires et aux programmes nationaux. Elle permet aux clients de soumettre à l'organisme leurs problèmes au lieu de les laisser entrevoir des programmes ou des services auxquels ils pensent avoir droit.
- CCI facilite le travail quotidien de l'assistant social en lui permettant de rechercher rapidement un client et de l'enregistrer dans le système dès que le client contacte l'organisme.
- Les agents peuvent utiliser le triage pour identifier rapidement des services communautaires proches du domicile du client et identifier facilement les programmes nationaux qui répondent à leurs besoins.
- Les agents peuvent exécuter un examen préalable pour déterminer leur éligibilité aux programmes nationaux.
- Les agents peuvent soumettre des demandes de programmes pour le compte des clients.
- Les modifications de la situation des clients peuvent être signalées aisément en utilisant le processus d'événements de la vie pour déterminer ainsi rapidement si les prestations existantes sont affectées.
- Les agents peuvent renvoyer le client vers des fournisseurs de services et/ou des organismes externes qui peuvent répondre à ses besoins.
- CCI fournit une infrastructure aux organismes pour implémenter leurs propres règles d'éligibilité et d'assistance et un groupe de fonctions de saisie configurables et personnalisables en fonction de leurs besoins.
