This chapter describes the steps that must be followed within application administration in order to capture and maintain evidence at the case level. These steps include configuring evidence metadata for evidence types, and then associating the evidence types with cases, participants and categories. The chapter also introduces dynamic evidence and describes how it offers a complementary or alternative approach to the traditional non-dynamic evidence approach followed by the system which previously required some development downtime.
