The evidence solution simplifies the task of designing an evidence solution by providing a balance between re-usability and support for customization. It reuses components of an evidence solution as much as possible, especially those aspects of evidence maintenance common across all evidence types.
At the same time, the evidence solution supports customization. It enforces certain design standards which need to be addressed at the start of a project. These design considerations are described in this chapter.
