Overview

Another important security concern is protecting content as it is entered, displayed and transferred across the network for the IBM Cúram Social Program Managementapplication. The default configuration uses SSL provided by the application server to secure content as it is transferred.

In addition to this, during the development lifecycle, industry leading products are used to regularly monitor for security vulnerabilities in the application. Examples of such potential vulnerabilities include: cross site scripting, and SQL injection. Such threats are resolved within the infrastructure when discovered.

It is recommended that customers perform similar security monitoring of their application.
