Configure the Timer Service

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers;
  2. Select the appropriate server from the list;
  3. In the Container Settings panel expand EJB Container Settings;
  4. Select the EJB timer service settings link;
  5. In the Scheduler Type panel Select the Use internal EJB timer service scheduler instance option;
  6. Set the fields as follows:

    Data source JNDI name :jdbc/curamtimerdb

    Data source alias : <valid for database>

    where the alias used is the one set up in Creating the Data Source Login Alias;

  7. Click the OK button to confirm the changes;
  8. Save the changes made to the master configuration using the Save option as before.
