Prepare the Cognos content for deployment - Remote Machine

About this task

If Cognos is on a remote server carry out the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Share the directory %Cognos_home% folder on the Cognos server.
  2. Map a network drive from the Reporting machine to the shared location on the Cognos server.
  3. On the Reporting server create a COGNOS_HOME variable and point this to the mapped network drive.
