Large Scale aggregations will be supported by the Data Warehouse. It is assumed that any large scale aggregations of data will be performed in the Data Warehouse or with dedicated tables within the transactional database. As a result no consideration has been given to supporting large scale aggregations directly in the transactional database, nor to the potential issues any such aggregations might pose.
