Adding a Content Management Service to the Target System

Once the target system has been registered, the next step is to add the service. When creating a service, the following must be specified:

This table describes the CMS service settings that must be specified for a target system.

Service Name Unique name of the service. This must be set to 'Content Management Interoperability Service over Atompub'. Yes
Extension URL extension that is added to the target system address to give the full location of the CMIS repository. Yes
Invoking User Username Login username required by the CMS Atomic service. By default, this global account is required to connect to the CMS. It can be left blank if CMIS Single Sign On support has been implemented by the organization and enabled in the application. For more information on Single Sign On, refer to the CMIS Customization Chapter. No
Invoking User Password Login password required by the CMS ATOM service. By default, this global account is required to connect to the CMS. It can be left blank if CMIS Single Sign On support has been implemented by the organization and enabled in the application. Note: It is only a valid configuration to have exactly one Target System service named "Content Management Interoperability Service over Atompub".
