When a container is used within a list to group columns, the grouped columns will be displayed in one column with the container title displayed as the heading for that column. A container can be used in a list as follows:
<list entity="Person" criteria="isPrimary==false"
show-icons="true">
...
<container>
<title id="FullName.Title">Full Name</title>
<column id="firstName">
<title id="FirstName.Title">First Name</title>
</column>
<column id="lastName">
<title id="LastName.Title">Last Name</title>
</column>
</container>
...
</list>
It is possible to apply a width value to a container, as shown below where the container takes up 60% of the width available to the list:
<list entity="Person" criteria="isPrimary==false"
show-icons="true">
...
<container>
<layout>
<width>60</width>
</layout>
<title id="FullName.Title">Full Name:</title>
<question id="firstName" mandatory="false"
control-question="false" multi-select="false">
<label id="FirstName.Label">First Name:</label>
</question>
<question id="lastName" mandatory="false"
control-question="false" multi-select="false">
<label id="lastName.Label">Last Name:</label>
</question>
</container>
...
</list>
