Universal Access - Screening
- A screening called 'Social Assistance Screening' has been configured. While the available screening lists a number of example programs, the rules will determine potential eligibility for the following (all other benefits/programs displayed do not have any associated rules so are just for display purposes only):
- Employment Benefit
- School Start Subsidy
- Child Care Assistance
- An IEG script provides the questions for capturing the data
necessary to determine potential eligibility for the above
programs
- A screening rule-set determines if, based on the data captured
during the screening process, the client qualifies for employment
benefit
- The rules for qualifying are that the client is unemployed and available for employment
- If there are children under the age of 17 and the client is potentially eligible for employment benefit, they may also be entitled to a child allowance for each child
- If there are expenses recorded for rent, the client may be entitled to receive an accommodation allowance
- The screening rule-set also determines, based on the data
captured during the screening process, if the client qualifies for a
School Start Subsidy as follows:
- There is a child aged between 5 and 6 years
- The screening rule-set also determines, based on the data
captured during the screening process, if the client qualifies for
Child Care Assistance:
- There are one or more children under the age of 17 years
