Introduction

In order to claim the benefits or services provided by a program, most SEM organizations require the client to submit an application. An application usually includes the client(s) who are applying for the program, evidence required to authorize the program, and information relating to the application such as the application date. Cúram Intake provides an application case to manage the information relating to an application for programs. The application case can also be configured to include program timers, eligibility checks, Priority, Complexity and Risk (PCR) assessments, and the ability to create an appeal on a program denial.

An application case can be created in a number of ways, depending on an organization's configurations:

Once an application case is created, there are a number of processing steps that occur before the application is closed, including client registration, the capturing of evidence and verifications, and program authorization. These steps may be carried out automatically or manually by the worker, depending on how the application case is configured. The following sections describe the features and processing provided with the application case.
