The first step in the intake process for a worker is to search for or register the client. At the time of initial contact, the worker can determine if the client is already registered in the system or if he or she is new to the organization. The worker may not have all the necessary information required for full person registration, so the worker can register the client as a prospect person with minimal data. A full registration can be performed at a later date when all of the required information is available.
