Navigators can access the navigator portal using the login details they are provided with once they are successfully registered with the agency. The navigator portal provides a link to the HCR Universal Access landing page, from which the individual who is seeking assistance can log into their account and proceed to apply for health care assistance. The 'Select the Navigator Assisting You' option allows the individual to select the navigator who is helping with the application.
Once the navigator is selected, and the citizen has consented to help from a navigator, the application for assistance can proceed under the navigator's guidance. A record of the navigator who assists on a submitted application is recorded. A record of all the clients who have been assisted by the navigator is also kept and is available in the navigator portal.
