The following household members, who live in the home, are not considered household members in determining the household members eligibility or benefit amount. Their income and resources are not counted and they are not included in the household size:
- Individuals sharing living quarters with the household but do not purchase food and prepare meals with them OR
- Live-in Attendants who do not purchase food and prepare meals with the household OR
- Roomers to whom the household furnishes lodging for compensation but not meals OR
- Ineligible students OR
- Boarders who are residents of a commercial boarding house OR
- Individuals who are residents of an institution that is not exempt OR
- Individuals who are the spouses of narcotic addicts or alcoholics who reside at the same treatment facility.
