- Cúram Workflow Management System
- This chapter provides an overview of the components of
the Cúram Workflow Management System (WMS),
namely Process Definitions and the Workflow Process Definition
Tool (PDT), the Workflow Engine, the Inbox,
and the Workflow Administration application. A brief
overview of workflow and the benefits and costs of using workflow
is also described in this chapter.
- Workflow Processes Definitions
- This chapter describes a workflow process definition, its
activity types, transitions, and notifications. It also describes
how a business process may be analyzed and how a workflow process
definition may be designed using the results of such an
analysis.
- Workflow Engine and Process Enactment
- This chapter describes the workflow engine and the various
ways a workflow process may be enacted in the Cúram
WMS.
- Inbox and Task Management
- This chapter describes the Inbox and the functionality
available in the Cúram WMS to allow
users of the system to manage their workload. The various
task management functions also available are also described
in this chapter.
- Workflow Administration
- This chapter provides an overview of Workflow Administration
which includes the maintenance of workflow process instances and
the definition and maintenance of events, work queues and allocation
targets.
