The CTM setup tool is used to configure both the landscape name and the key block range allocation for each system in the system landscape.
An Extensible Markup Language (XML) configuration file is used to specify the appropriate values. When executed, the CTM setup tool writes the configured values to the database so that they can be used by the system. As has previously been noted, it is important that the values are configured and the tool executed before the system is started. Please refer to section 5.3.2 - Key Block Ranges for further information on this requirement.
