Viewing appeals associated with a case by type enables the supervisor to quickly assess which type of appeal occurs most frequently on the case so that they may be addressed effectively. Case appeals can be viewed by type as a bar chart or list. From the bar chart, the supervisor can drill down to a list of appeals of a particular type, and access the appeal details. The appeals can be reassigned by the supervisor on the basis of type. This allows the supervisor to reassign all or some appeal cases of a particular type, to an individual user who specializes in this type of work. The supervisor can also reassign the appeals using the automatic reassignment option.
Appeals can also be viewed as a basic list sorted by type.
