Hearing Appeal Type Decision Statuses

Each hearing appeal decision goes through several stages during its lifecycle. The hearing appeal decision status reflects the stage of the hearing appeal case decision.

The following table describes the hearing case decision statuses in full:

This table describes the statuses a hearing case can have.

Status

Description

Not Started A hearing appeal decision status is "not started" when no decision exists on the hearing appeal case.
In Progress A hearing appeal decision status is "in progress" when a decision exists for the hearing appeal case but it has not yet been approved.

Submitted

A hearing appeal decision status is "submitted" when it is submitted for approval.

Approved A hearing appeal decision status is "approved" when the decision is approved by an authorized user.
Rejected A hearing appeal decision status is "rejected" when the hearing appeal case decision is rejected by an authorized user.
