Assessing Priority, Complexity, and Risk for an Application

The priority, complexity and risk of the application is determined throughout the life cycle of the application. The agency can configure when a PCR assessment is triggered. A PCR assessment can be triggered in any or all of the following scenarios:

• when an application is submitted,
• when all prospects have been matched or registered on an application,
• when evidence is applied to an application,
• when an eligibility check is performed,
• when program requests are added to or removed from an application,
• when an intake worker or an eligibility worker manually select to run a PCR assessment.

Advice can be configured to be displayed upon completing a PCR assessment based on the PCR classifications for the application.

The PCR assessment becomes particularly relevant when the client(s) are determined to be eligible for one more programs on the application, as they are then likely to become ongoing clients of the agency. The PCR assessment enables the agency to deal more effectively with the client(s).

CCI does not provide sample rules or responses for PCR, however the infrastructure is available for an agency to implement custom PCR rules and responses.
