Recording a Life Event for a Client that does not have an Active Case

If the client approaches the agency and tells the worker that a specific life event has occurred, and the client does not have an active case, the worker can select to run a triage-style script directed towards capturing information on the specific life event, and any other life events that may have occurred. For example, if a client tells the worker that he lost his job and wants to claim benefits, the worker can select a life event for change in employment which runs a triage script with more directed questions around employment and the client's financial situation. The system then determines the recommendations for the client based on the answers given. This provides recommendations specific to a particular life event. Based on the recommendations, the worker can create a referral, continue to screen or apply for benefits, or respond to an emergency.
