This chapter gives a business overview of the infrastructure provided for building a data warehouse. The method in which this data can be made available to business user was described in the previous chapter: embedded analytics in the online application, business specific dashboards and reports. Commercial software such as Cognos could also be used to provide a view into the data warehouse.
